How to install the KSMBLPS pouring screen on my KitchenAid mixer?

Make sure the mixer is off and unplugged. Place the screen on the bowl aligning the U-shape of the motor head covers with the screen. Press down slightly so the convenient snap tabs secure the bowl in place. The pouring spout will then be slightly to the right of the accessory port.

Which mixer models are compatible with the KSMBLPS pouring screen?

This model is approved for all KitchenAid® bowl-lift mixers with metal bowl, except model KPM5. It is also compatible with tilt-head mixers with 4.5 and 5 qt bowls.

Can I put the pouring screen in the dishwasher?

Yes, you can place the pouring screen in the top rack of the dishwasher. You can also hand wash it in warm soapy water.

KSMBLPS: This accessory has been approved for use with all KitchenAid® Bowl Lift Stand Mixers with metal bowls, except model number KPM5.

PRODUCT USAGE

1. Turn the Stand Mixer OFF/0 and unplug.
2. Attach bowl and flat beater, dough hook, or wire whip to the mixer.

For tilt head users: Attach bowl and flat beater, dough hook, or wire whip to the mixer and lower and lock the motor head.

For bowl lift users: Attach flat beater, dough hook, or wire whip to the mixer. Attach bowl and raise into locked position.

1. Place the Pouring Shield: Place the shield onto the bowl so that the motor head covers the u-shaped gap in the shield. This will position the pouring chute just to the right of the attachment hub as you face the mixer. Press lightly so that the Easy Snap tabs snap the shield onto the bowl.
2. Pour ingredients into the bowl through the Pouring Chute.

DISASSEMBLING THE PRODUCT

1. Turn the Stand Mixer OFF/0 and unplug.
2. Lift the front of the Pouring shield off of the bowl.

CARE AND CLEANING

1. Wash the Pouring Shield in warm, soapy water or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher.
