How to install the Alpatec PRMB 1600 heater?

The unit can be installed on the floor with the supplied castors or mounted on the wall. For wall mounting, mark the location at least 25 cm from the floor, drill the wall and screw in the plastic brackets. Then hang the unit on the brackets using the adhesive pads. For floor installation, turn the unit over and attach the feet with the supplied screws. Ensure a clearance of 50 cm around the unit.

Can I use this heater in a bathroom?

No, the unit must not be used in a damp room such as a bathroom, nor near a swimming pool or any water source. Moisture increases the risk of electric shock. Use it only in a dry location.

What to do if the appliance emits an odor during first use?

A slight smoke or odor may occur during first use, this is normal and stops after a few seconds. Ensure the room is well ventilated. If the odor persists, unplug the appliance and contact customer service.

How to clean the heater?

Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a damp cloth (not wet) to wipe the surface. Never use abrasive products or immerse the appliance in water. Avoid water entering the air vents.

Tips and safety measures CAUTION:

Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

• Do not place the appliance underneath a plug.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Installation

Be sure to remove all packaging material.

In order to prevent possible risk of accidents, do not leave items such as plastic bags, polystyrene or cables within the reach of children.

Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage.

If the appliance is to be mounted on a wall, fix it at a height of at least 25 cm from the floor.

The power socket must be easily accessible in order to unplug the appliance quickly in case of emergency.

The appliance must only be used with its wall bracket, supplied with the packaging.

Fixing the legs with castors (Fig. 1):

Put the appliance face down, present the supports facing the orifices and fix them using the supplied bolts.

Wall fixing:

Mark the location on the wall (at least 25 cm from the floor), having first measured the distance between the slots. (Fig. 2).

Drill the holes in the wall over the marks made and screw the plastic supports to the wall. (Fig. 3)

Fix the plastic stands to the rear of the appliance (Fig. 4) Mount the appliance on the supports.

Caution: Remove the legs with castors if you are going to mount the appliance on the wall.

Use:

The appliance may give off a small amount of smoke and/or odour the first time you use it. This is perfectly normal and will disappear after a few seconds.

- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.

- Make sure that the appliance is properly assembled.

- Connect the appliance to the mains.

- Set the ON switch in the desired position, after which the ON pilot light will come on.

- Rotate the thermostat to select the desired temperature.

- When the desired temperature is reached, the apparatus will switch off automatically.

- If temperature in the room drops, the appliance will switch on again automatically.

Cleaning
