What to do if smoke comes out during first use?

LIMITED WARRANTY:

The standard warranty period for the hair dryers we market is 24 months in compliance with European Directive 1999/44/EC. The professional warranty period for hair dryers that are used at beauty salons and for any other professional purposes is 6 months from the date of purchase.

In both cases, the warranty shall be valid upon presentation of the

proof of purchase consisting of original invoice or purchase ticket indicating the date of purchase and product type. Such proof must be legible, full and undamaged.

For support service under warranty, please take the original purchase ticket / sales receipt to the shop where the product was purchased. The product will be repaired free of charge or immediately replaced with similar product of equal or greater value.

CAUTION

This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operated for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking. This occurs when the coating around the heating element is heated for the first time. This is not dangerous for the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using the appliance for the first time, keep it working until the smoke dissipates. Smoke dissipates after about 30 seconds.

5D THERAPY is based on the joint action of Ion Plus Technology, Ozone and Far Infrared Heat, ensuring an anti-frizz effect, shine, reconstruction, an anti-ageing effect and continuous protection for your hair. Ozone is a strong antibacterial agent that eliminates excess sebum and impurities, which clog the capillary pores of the scalp, ensuring they are properly oxygenated. The hair thus grows healthier and stronger from the root and undergoes a true rejuvenation process. The ions help in its molecular reconstruction, eliminating frizziness and making it softer and shinier. The far infrared heat, emitted in the 5D Therapy hair dryers by the halogen lamp inside them and in the hair straighteners

by the tourmaline, the material coating the heating plates, guarantees continuous protection. It has a wavelength that penetrates directly to the centre of the hair and is diffused from the inside towards the outside, providing maximum protection to the cuticle.

In all models, speed and temperature have different adjusting buttons:

COLD AIR JET:

This button is used for setting the style; motor should be on. When this button is pushed, the hot air is immediately cooled and helps to better set the style. Once the button is released, the air flow goes back to the setting selected.

HOW TO USE ATTACHMENTS SUPPLIED:

To fit the attachment you need to push against the front coupling section until attachment locks in place. After use, pull attachment to extract; if this last operation should be difficult, heat the hair dryer slightly until extraction becomes easier. A diffuser is the ideal attachment to use if you want greater volume or perfectly defined curls. If a perfect styling is what you are looking for, use the diffuser while drying your hair combining medium speed and highest temperature. If you need volume, set both speed and temperature low and aim diffuser at the roots blowing upwards. Massage hair scalp gently and slowly.
