Type examination certificate:
• EU: BVS 11 ATEX E009 X
• IEC: IECEx BVS 11.0002 X
The requirements of the following standards are met:
• EN IEC 60079-0:2018, EN 60079-11:2012
• IEC 60079-0:2017, IEC 60079-11:2011

| Ui | 30 V DC |
| li | 1 A |
| Pi group II | 1 W |
| Pi group III | 1 W |
Maximum effective internal inductance (Li) and capacitance (Ci):
Li = 2 µH / m, Ci = 0. 1 nF / m
3 Installation
▶ Protect the product from destruction.
▶ Avoid electrostatic charging on the product.
▶ If two intrinsically safe circuits are connected, the differential voltage must not exceed 30V.
▶ Connect open cable ends in a junction box with the min. protection rating IP 20 or outside the hazardous area.
3.1 Special conditions for safe operation
- If the connector is used in areas requiring category 1G, 1D or 2G devices, set up the connector and the connected cable so as to exclude intensive electrostatic charging.
- If several intrinsically safe circuits are connected to the socket, the cable must be laid effectively protected against any damage.
- Due to space limitations, not all markings may be on the product. You can find the complete marking in the operating instructions.
Especially for IIIC:
- Operation of the connectors without a matching M12 counterpart is not permitted. The M12 counterpart must meet the IP requirements to IEC 60079-11.
- When the connector is opened, the ingress of dust must be avoided.
- The connectors must be protected from UV radiation.
- The lock nut must be tightened with a tightening torque of 1.2...1.5 Nm.
4 Maintenance, repair and disposal
No modifications or repairs may be made to the product.
▶ In case of a fault please contact the manufacturer.
▶ If required, request data sheets or type examination certificates / certificates from the manufacturer ( → cover sheet / back).
