AMBIENTE Este símbolo indica la recogida separada de equipos eléctricos y electrónicos. El objevo prioritario de la recogida de estos residuos es reducir la candad a eliminar, promover la reulización, el re- ciclado y otras formas de valorización, para reducir sus efectos negavos sobre el me- dio ambiente. Cuando este aparato esté fuera de uso, no debe desecharse con los demás residuos urbanos no diferenciados. Para obtener información más detallada so- bre los locales de recogida debe dirigirse a su Ayuntamiento o a un punto de venta de estos equipamientos.11 English MICATHERMIC HEATER SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS Please read these instrucons carefully before using the appliance for the rst me and keep them for future reference. Use that does not comply with the instrucons releases FLAMA from all responsibilies. This appliance can be used by children over 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are given appropriate supervision or instrucons for using the appliance in a safe and so that they understand the inherent dangers. Children under 3 years of age must stay away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised. Children over 3 years of age and under 8 years of age must only be able to switch the appliance on and o when it has been placed, or installed, in its intended posion for normal operaon and they are supervised or have received instrucons regarding the use of the appliance in a safely understanding the risks that the appliance presents. Children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years must not plug in, adjust and clean the appliance or carry out maintenance operaons. Do not leave plasc bags or packaging items within the reach of children. They can be potenal sources of danger. Do not connect it without making sure that the voltage indicated on the rang plate and the mains voltage match. Check that the socket is properly earthed. The handling or replacement of any component must be carried out by an Authorized FLAMA Technical Assistance Service. CAUTION: To avoid overheang, do not cover the appliance.12 www.ama.pt CAUTION: Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Parcular aenon should be paid when children and vulnerable people are present. Do not use the radiator near showers, bathtubs, sinks or swimming pools. Do not wet or immerse it in water or any other liquid. Do not place the appliance under a power socket. You must ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of your reach. To disconnect the appliance, pull the plug and never the cable. Do not place it near or in front of curtains, ammable objects or products. Always place it in an upright posion. Do not place the connecng cable over the hot areas of the appliance. This appliance has an integrated safety system that stops its operaon in case of overheang. If this happens, turn it o and wait about 30 minutes before turning it on again. Cleaning and maintenance to be carried out by the user must not be carried out by children without supervision. If the appliance’s power cord deteriorates, it must be replaced by an Authorized Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard. 5. Feet with caster wheels
The feet should be placed at both ends of the boom part of the appliance. Align the openings on the feet with the hubs located underneath the appliance. Screw on the feet. Instrucons for use OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Fully unwind the power cord from the cord wrap. Plug the appliance into a wall socket. Turn the thermostat control knob clockwise to the maximum (MAX) posion. Place the power level selector in the desired posion; the lighted indicator will turn on. Keep in mind: Posion 0 - O. Posion I – Minimum power. Posion II - Maximum power. When the desired temperature is reached, turn the thermostat control knob counterclockwise unl the lighted indicator turns o. The thermostat will automacally maintain the selected temperature. An-frost funcon When the thermostat control knob is in the an-frost (*) posion and the power level selector is acvated, the appliance will automacally turn o if the ambient temperature is below 5ºC.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before undertaking any cleaning and maintenance procedures, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the wall socket and has cooled down. Let the hot parts cool down. It is important to always keep the air intake and outlet grilles clean of dust and lint. Clean the appliance with a so, dry cloth. In case of malfuncon, please take the appliance to an authorized Technical Assistance Service. Do not aempt to disassemble or repair the appliance, as this may be dangerous.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
This symbol indicates the separate collecon of electrical and electronic equipment. The main objecve of the separate collecon of this waste is to reduce the quanty to be disposed of, promote re- use, recycling and other forms of recovery in order to reduce its negave eects on the environment. When it is no longer in use, this appliance must not be disposed of together with other unsorted municipal waste. The user is responsible for delivering it free of charge to the selecve collecon facilies available for that purpose. Pieces of equipment that are no longer in use can also be taken back at points of sale, by purchasing new pieces of equipment that are equivalent and have the same funcons. 1. Keep the proof of purchase (receipt) for this
product carefully. When a repair is made under these condions, the technician will require proof of purchase. This assistance can only be provided once you have proven, with the proof of purchase, that your appliance is within the warranty period.
2. The warranty period for this appliance is dened
by the respecve EU Direcve in force on the date of purchase/delivery.
3. Within the guarantee period, we will repair or
replace, free of charge, any parts which, during the normal use of the appliance, have deteriorated as a result of a proven material or manufacturing defect.
4. This warranty does not cover consumable items,
light bulbs, easily breakable parts made of glass or plasc, or any other defects that do not impair its proper funconing.
5. We accept no liability for damage caused by
incorrect or careless use of the appliance, by its connecon to an electrical current other than that indicated on the appliance’s rang plate, by faulty electrical installaon, or by atmospheric, chemical or electrochemical causes. Other claims or demands for compensaon relang to objects which are not an integral part of the appliance will be denied.
6. The provision of assistance under warranty does not
extend the warranty period. Only within this period will assistance be provided under warranty. The right to assistance is only granted to the rst purchaser of the device and cannot be transferred to a third party.
7. The warranty expires when unauthorized persons
have aempted to repair, modify or replace parts of the appliance.
8. All expenses and risks of transportaon to our
factory or vice versa will always be borne by the buyer. WARRANTY CONDITIONS To benet from the Technical Assistance service during the 36-month warranty period aer the date of purchase, you will need to: Present the Invoice/Proof of Purchase, stang the model and the manufacturing number of the product (whenever possible). Note: Failure to present the aforemenoned documents will be grounds for not providing services under warranty.
