How do I connect the player to my TV?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI AV OUT MAIN jack on the player to an HDMI input on your TV. Turn on the TV and select the corresponding video input.

Can I watch videos in 4K?

Yes, if your TV is 4K compatible. Use a high-speed HDMI cable and set 4K Output (50p/60p) to Automatic in the Setup menu.

How do I update the firmware?

Connect the player to the internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Go to HOME > Setup > Player Settings > System > Software Update. Follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I set up Wi-Fi?

Go to HOME > Setup > Network > Network Connection Settings. Select Wireless LAN, choose your network, and enter the password.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check the batteries: insert new batteries respecting the polarities (+/-). Point the remote control at the front sensor of the player. Remove obstacles.

Can I play 3D Blu-ray discs?

Yes, this model plays 3D Blu-ray discs. You need to use a 3D TV and active 3D glasses. Enable 3D output in the video settings if necessary.

How do I use the Miracast function?

Enable Miracast on your mobile device (Android or Windows) and on the player via HOME > Setup > Network > Miracast. Select the player from the device list.

The player does not read a disc, what should I do?

Clean the disc with a soft, dry cloth (from the center outward). Check that the disc is compatible (BD, DVD, CD). Try another disc. If the problem persists, contact support.

How do I clean the device?

Unplug the power cord. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the casing. Never use solvents, chemicals, or damp cloths.

Where can I find the detailed manual?

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into a computer. Open the INDEX.pdf file to access the full user manual in PDF format. Adobe Reader is required.

• Use HDMI AV OUT MAIN terminal.
• Insert the AC mains lead up to Ⓐ, a point just before the round hole.
• To enjoy 4K output, you need to connect this unit to a 4K compatible TV. To enjoy images in 4K (50p/60p), you need a High Speed HDMI Cable.
• To enjoy image in 4K (50p/60p), set "4K (50p/60p) Output" to "Automatic". ([HOME] "Setup" "Player Settings" "Picture" "HDMI Output")

STEP 2 : Connecting to the network

Use category 5 or above straight LAN cables (STP) when connecting to peripheral devices.

STEP 3 : Settings

Turn on the TV and select the appropriate video input.

Touch [⏻/l]*.

Follow the on-screen instructions to continue with the settings.

\* Standby/on switch (⏻/l)

Touch to switch the unit from on to standby mode or vice versa. In standby mode, the unit is still consuming a small amount of power.

STEP 4 : Playing a disc

Insert the disc.

Select the item to play and press [OK].

• Hold onto the mains plug body when disconnecting the plug.
• Do not use a damaged mains plug or socket outlet.

The mains plug is the disconnecting device.

Install this unit so that the mains plug can be unplugged from the socket outlet immediately.
