SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following. Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the rst time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.

- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. If present, rst turn all the buttons to the 'o' position, then pull the plug out of the socket by grasping the plug itself. Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
- Before use, check carefully that the electric tension and frequency of the power net at your home match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.
- The appliance must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with local installation regulations.
- Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Keep the power cord away from hot parts and don’t cover the appliance.
- Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord. Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
- For safety reasons, never use the appliance if the cord, plug, or appliance itself is damaged, or after a malfunction of the appliance. I CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely aect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. I PRODUCT
SPECIFIC WARNINGS CAUTION: the appliance gets very hot during use and stays hot for some time after use. Keep the power cord away from hot parts and don’t cover the appliance.
- Place the appliance on a at, stable and heat-resistant surface.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Always leave a free space of at least 30 cm around the appliance.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
- Make sure that all ingredients stay in the basket, so that they do not come into contact with the heating elements.
- Do not cover the air inlet or outlet when the appliance is switched on.
- Never ll the frying pan with oil.
- Do not touch the inside of the appliance when it is in use.
- When the appliance is operating, hot steam may escape from the air inlet and/or outlet. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance. Also be careful when taking the frying pan out of the air fryer. Hot steam or air may escape.
- When you see dark smoke coming from the appliance, immediately pull the plug out of the socket. Wait until the smoke development has stopped before removing the frying pan from the air fryer.
- Let the appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes before moving or cleaning it.46 www.domo-elektro.be
- The equipment shall be touched only at intended handles and gripping surfaces, and use heat protection like gloves or similar. Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get suciently time to cool down before getting touched.

- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers. I Do not remove the rubber pads on the fryer grille. These are part of the device and hold the grille in place.
- Clean the frying baskets and grilles with warm water, washing up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the air fryer clean with a soft cloth. I You may never add any frying oil or fat in the frying baskets. USE
1. Place the appliance on a at, stable and heat-resistant surface. Make sure that there is at least
30 cm of free space around the appliance.
2. Make sure the grilles are placed in the frying baskets. Push the grille into place so that it sits
level on the bottom. I Do not place any oil or fat in the frying baskets.
3. Slide the empty frying baskets with grille into the air fryer. Make sure the small tray is placed at
the top and the large tray at the bottom. I Never use the frying baskets without the grille inside.
4. Plug the power cord into a socket. A beep indicates that the device is in standby mode.
5. Remove the frying basket from the appliance. Place the ingredients in the frying basket with the
grille. Do not overload the basket so that the ingredients do not touch the heating elements. Make sure that there is a minimum of 2 cm distance between the ingredients and the heating elements.
6. Put the lled basket back in the device.
7. Press the on/o button to make the desired settings.
8. Press the control button of the desired tray: "UPPER" or "LOWER".
9. Press temperature/timer setting to set the desired temperature and timer. Successively pressing
this button will display the temperature or cooking time of the selected tray.
10. Set the desired temperature using the selection dial. This ranges from 80 to 200°C. Turn left
to decrease the temperature, turn right to increase it. Then press temperature/timer setting to move to cooking time.
11. Select the desired cooking time using the selection dial. The timer can be set from 1 to 60
minutes. Turn left for less time, turn right to increase the time.
12. If you want to use the other cooking tray as well, press the control button of the corresponding
tray ("UPPER" or "LOWER") and set the temperature and cooking time as described above.
13. Press the start/pause button to start. The set timer and temperature appear alternately on the
display of the selected drawer(s). I You can pause the appliance if you want to add/remove ingredients during use or if you want to adjust the temperature or timer. Press the start/pause button. The temperature/ cooking time display will ash to indicate that the appliance is paused. Afterwards, if you want the device to continue working, press the start/pause button again.
14. You can take the frying basket out of the appliance in between to shake up the ingredients or
to check how fried your food is. The device will stop working automatically, the display shows "OPEN". The appliance simply resumes working when you slide the frying basket back into the appliance (unless the set time has elapsed). I When both cooking drawers are in operation, they both stop working when one of the drawers is removed from the appliance. Both drawers will continue to work when both drawers are pushed back into place.
15. "OFF" appears in the display of the corresponding drawer(s) after the cooking time has elapsed.
The appliance fan will stay on for a short period and then switch o automatically. A beep will sound 5 times to indicate the device is switched o. You can also turn it o earlier by pressing the power button. The appliance fan stays on for a short time before it turns o.
16. Remove the frying pans from the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant holder. You can
gently shake the preparation into a bowl or remove it from the frying basket with heat-resistant tongs that won't scratch the non-stick coating of the frying basket. I Be careful when shaking out the tray. Excess fat may leak out. SMART COOK: BOTH TRAYS STOP COOKING AT THE SAME TIME Use this function to set the timer so the preparations (with dierent cooking time and temperature) will be ready in the two cooking trays at the same time. Place food in both trays from the start.
1. Press "UPPER" and set the desired temperature and timer.
2. Press "LOWER" to adjust the desired settings there.
3. Press the SMART COOK button so that both drawers stop cooking at the same time.
4. Press the start/pause button. The cooking tray with the longest cooking time will start rst. The
reaches the point that both drawers will nish at the same time. An audible signal will sound 5 times to indicate that the 2nd drawer has started.
5. When nished, an audible signal will sound 5 times, the air fryer will ventilate for a while, and
then it will switch itself o automatically. DUAL: BUTTON FOR SETTING BOTH SIDES IDENTICALL Press this button if you want to use the appliance with the same setting for both baking trays. By pushing this button, you ling both trays to each other. If you do this, the desired settings only have to be chosen once. Now press the start button. When the "UPPER" or "LOWER" button is pressed after selecting the DUAL button, the DUAL function is cancelled and the 2 cooking drawers will again operate independently.
The appliance is equipped with a function that reminds you to shake the food in the air fryer during use to obtain an even frying result. Halfway through the frying process, the “SHAKE” symbol will light up on the display to remind you to shake or turn the food in the air fryer. An audible signal will also sound. If you do nothing, the symbol will remain lit. I The appliance does not pause automatically, it will only pause if you briey remove the frying basket from the appliance. It will continue working (if the timer is still running) once you slide the basket back into the appliance. COMMENTS
- You can briey remove one of the drawers from the appliance during the cooking time to shake up the ingredients or check the cooking. The unit will automatically stop working, and "OPEN" will appear on both displays. The appliance will resume operating as normal when you slide the frying basket back into the appliance (if the set time has not yet elapsed). The unit will not continue to operate while one of the drawers is removed from the unit.
- An acoustic signal is emitted for each setting you set on the device.
- You can adjust the set temperature or time at any time while the unit is in operation.
- Excess oil is collected in the frying basket.
- If your food is not ready after the set time has elapsed, you can always switch the appliance back on for a few minutes.
- After the appliance has been switched o, it will continue to run for a while to cool down. "End" appears on the display. Then a beep sounds to indicate that the appliance is now completely
- There is no need to preheat the appliance. You can add three minutes to the desired baking time if necessary for frozen products.
- If you just want to warm something up in the air fryer, you can set it to 150°C for 10 minutes. AUTOMATIC PROGRAMS The device has 8 automatically set programs. To set one of these, rst select the desired drawer by pressing "UPPER" or "LOWER" (or "DUAL" for both drawers together) and then press the MENU button until you have selected the desired programme (the indicator light of the selected programme will ash). If you wish, you can use the temperature/timer setting to adjust the temperature or timer a little more in the selected programme. ress the start/pause button to activate this program. After the baking time has elapsed, a beep will sound 5 times and "End" will appear on the display. The appliance will continue to ventilate for a while and then switch o automatically.50 www.domo-elektro.be

- It is recommended to shake the fries every 5 minutes, so that they are baked evenly. This also applies to other, smaller snacks that cover eachother when they are inserted in the grille.
- You can add a table spoon of oil for a crunchier result, for instance olive oil, sunower oil or groundnut oil. Mix this oil well with the raw fries before placing the fries in the grille. Other ingredients can be sprayed with oil or coated with oil with a brush. Always make sure that there is no excessive oil added in the grille or frying pan. Do not use too much oil. Then the fries will become less crisp and greasy.
- Put fresh, raw fries in water for 30 minutes before frying them, so that the starch of the potatoes is washed away. Dry them thoroughly afterwards.
- Do not cook very greasy foods in this air fryer.
- When you are preparing greasy ingredients, white smoke might come out of the appliance. However, this does not aect the operation of the appliance or the end result. Also when the air fryer is not properly cleaned, or if any oil is left behind in the frying pan, white smoke might develop.
- Snacks that can be cooked inside an oven can also be cooked inside this air fryer.
- Smaller quantities are fried more evenly than larger quantities.
- Thinner fries will be crispier than thicker fries.
- Place a baking tin or oven tray on the grille if you want to make a cake or quiche, or fragile or stued ingredients.
- You can also use this air fryer to reheat ingredients. Set the air fryer to 150°C, for 10 minutes.
- Ingredients that need to be cooked at the same temperature can be placed inside the basket together and cooked together.
- Frozen products do not need to be thawed beforehand.
- You can use baking paper or aluminum foil or trays in the grille of the air fryer, but do be very careful when you do this. Do not cover the whole bottom of the grille. The air should be able to circulate well through the appliance, the grille and the ingredients. Also, there should be enough food on the paper or foil, so that it stays in place. Otherwise, the strong air ow will cause the paper or foil to be sucked into the heating elements, which could cause re. Make sure that the baking paper or aluminum foil is larger than the food itself. However, the paper or foil should not come out of the grille.
- Oven snacks always give the best, crispiest result. But also frozen snacks suitable for a regular air fryer can be fried in this appliance.www.domo-elektro.be 51
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the appliance after each use.
- Do not use any metal or abrasive cleaning products. These could damage the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance.
- Let the appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes before moving or cleaning it.52 www.domo-elektro.be
- Wipe the outside of the appliance clean with a damp cloth.
- Clean the frying pan and grille with warm water, some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. The frying baskets and grilles are dishwasher safe.
- Clean the inside of the appliance with warm water and a soft sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a brush to remove any food residues.
- Dry all parts thoroughly. I Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid. I Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS The appliance does not work. • Check if the appliance is connected to a working power socket.
- Check both baking trays are fully inserted in the appliance. If not, the appliance will not operate.
- Set the desired timer or temperature and then press the start/pause button. The ingredients in the air fryer are not cooked. • Place fewer ingredients in the air fryer. Smaller portions ensure a more even baking result.
- Increase the timer or temperature. The ingredients in the air fryer are not cooked evenly.
- The recommendation is to shake the food regularly in the air fryer or to turn the food. The fried food is not crispy. • Only use preparations suitable for an oven or air fryer.
- Coat the ingredients with oil for a crispier baking result.
- Increase the temperature. Smoke is coming out of the appliance during operation.
- You are using ingredients with too much oil or fat. Only use ingredients or preparations suitable for an oven or air fryer.
- You used too much oil when preparing the food. Next time, use a bit less oil.
- The appliance was not cleaned properly and/or there is too much oil remaining in the fryer. Clean the appliance and fryer basket thoroughly after each use.www.domo-elektro.be 53
