The cartridge filter must never be removed during vacuuming. – When vacuuming fine dust, you may also use an additional paper filter bag or a membrane filter (special accessory). Illustration Release and remove the suction head. Insert the paper filter bag or the mem- brane filter (special attachment). Insert and lock the suction head. Illustration Remove the brush strips. Install the rubber lips. Note: The structured side of the rubber lips must point outwards. – If the appliance is used to vacuum wet dirt the paper filter bag or the mem- brane filter (special accessory) must al- ways be removed. – It is recommended to use a special filter bag (wet) (see Filter systems). ATTENTION Risk of damage! The cartridge filter must never be removed during vacuuming. – After the wet vacuuming: Clean the me- chanical overflow protection and the container with a damp rag and dry them. – If you change immediately from wet to dry vacuuming, then replace the wet cartridge filter with a dry one. Unscrew the star screw and pull out the cartridge filter. Illustration Tighten the star screw. Install the wet filter. Insert and lock the suction head. ATTENTION Risk of damage! The wet filter must never be removed during the vacuuming. – After the wet vacuuming: Clean the me- chanical overflow protection and the container with a damp rag and dry them. – If you change immediately from wet to dry vacuuming, replace the wet filter with a cartridge filter. 몇 CAUTION Please observe the local provisions regard- ing the wastewater treatment. Hold the container at the handle and tilt it by raising it. Empty the container fully. Illustration The suction hose is equipped with a clip system. All C-40/C-DN-40 accessories can be connected. Plug in the mains plug. Turn on the appliance. – The vacuum channel is equipped with a float. – When the dirt water reaches the highest permissible level in the container, the suction power is interrupted. Turn off the appliance. Empty the container. Turn off the appliance. Pull out the mains plug. Empty the container. Vacuum and wipe the appliance inside and outside with a damp cloth. Wind the suction hose and the mains cable and hang it over the pushing han- dle. Place the appliance in a dry room and secure it from unauthorized use. 몇 CAUTION Risk of injury and damage! Observe the weight of the appliance when you transport it. Remove the suction pipe with the floor nozzle from the holder. Hold the appli- ance by the handle and at the suction pipe to transport it, not by the push han- dle. Pull the device behind you at the carry- ing handle for transporting it over longer distances When transporting in vehicles, secure the appliance according to the guide- lines from slipping and tipping over. Note the weight of the appliance in case of storage. This appliance must only be stored in inte- rior rooms. DANGER First pull out the plug from the mains before carrying out any tasks on the machine. Release and remove the suction head. Unscrew the star screw, pull out the cartridge filter and replace with a new one. Tighten the star screw. Insert and lock the suction head. Release and remove the suction head. Unscrew the star screw and pull out the cartridge filter. Clean the mechanical overflow protec- tion with a moist cloth. Replace the cartridge filters. Tighten the star screw. Insert and lock the suction head. DANGER First pull out the plug from the mains before carrying out any tasks on the machine. Check the receptacle and the fuse of the power supply. Check power cable, mains plug and mechanical overflow protection. Turn on the appliance. Empty the container. Turn off the appliance and wait for 5 seconds, turn it on again after 5 sec- onds. Remove choking of suction nozzle, suc- tion tube, suction hose, or cartridge fil- ter. Replace the washer between the suc- tion head and the container. Exchange the paper filter bag. Clean or replace the membrane filter (special accessory) under running water. Change cartridge filter. Check drain pipe for leaks. Check the proper installation of the car- tridge filter. Change cartridge filter. Check swimmer for easy accessibility; clean with a moist rag or replace as need be. If malfunction can not be fixed, the de- vice must be checked by customer ser- vice. The warranty terms published by the rele- vant sales company are applicable in each country. We will repair potential failures of your appliance within the warranty period free of charge, provided that such failure is caused by faulty material or defects in man- ufacturing.
