Operation and safety notes

Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it. Proper use The product is for heating foodstuff on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and induction hobs. The product is for private use only. Safety advice

KEEP ALL THE SAFETY ADVICE AND

Please note that the handles may become hot during cooking. For your safety, use a potholder or barbecue gloves. Do not use the lid if the knob is loose. Retighten the screw joint of the knob if it loose. Never use the casserole dish if the handles are loose.

WARNING! DANGER OF DAMAGE TO

PROPERTY! Products in which fat is being heated up must never be left unattended. Fat can very quickly overheat and ignite. Never try to extinguish a fat fire with water. Cover the flames with a pot/ pan lid or a thick cloth. Use heat resistant plastic or wooden kitchen utensils in order not to damage the non-stick coating. Do not cut food directly in the product. Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire. Save energy! To avoid heat loss, choose a hotplate with a diameter that matches the diameter of the product. Effective bottom diameter: approx. 23.6cm The casserole dish is heat resistant up to 250°C for 1hour. Glass lid is heat resistant up to 180°C for 1hour. High temperatures may discolour the exterior of the product. This does not indicate faulty material, nor does it impair the product’s quality or function. Never hold the hot product under cold running water. The underside of the product may be damaged or fall off. This product is suitable for dishwashers. Frequently cleaning the product with harsh cleaners may damage it and can cause discolouration. ATTENTION! The glass lid is fragile/ not impact-resistant!4 GB/IE/NI For washing the product by hand, use hot water with a little ordinary washing-up liquid. Avoid using sharp or pointed objects for this in order not to damage the coating. Do not slide the product on the glass ceramic and halogen hobs to avoid scratches. Note for induction hobs Note: A noise may occur under certain conditions, resulting from the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the product. This is totally normal and does not imply that your induction hob or your cookware is damaged. Place the product in the middle of the induction hotplate. CAUTION! High heating-up rate! Do not overheat cookware when preheating. The room must be aired out well, in the event cookware overheating. In order for the product to function properly, please always place it on the cooktop corresponding to the effective base diameter stated in this manual. Usage Before first use, remove any stickers or labels from the product and rinse it in hot water. Before using the product for the first time, boil it out with water 2 to 3 times to completely remove all manufacturing residue. Do not overheat the product while empty or filled to prevent the non-stick effect from weakening due to damage to the coating. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product. Warranty The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below. The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly. The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.5GB/IE/NI Warranty claim procedure To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions: Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 123456_7890) available as proof of purchase.
