USING THE APPLIANCE

  1. Remove all packing material and any stickers.
  2. Wipe the product and accessories with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any dust. Wipe dry with a soft cloth or paper towels.
  3. Select a location where the appliance is to be used, leaving enough space between back of unit and wall to allow heat to flow without damage to cabinets and walls.
  4. Plug in a standard electrical socket, the power red indicator will turn on. You can clockwise rotate the temperature knob between MIN - HIGH. If the temperature knob is in MIN position, the plate will not be heating any more. For the first use it is better to apply some oil or grease to the hot pot or plate.
  5. Important: The hot pot and cooking plate will be very hot. Caution should be taken to prevent the hands from contacting with them.
  6. To preserve the hot pot's nonstick coating, always use nylon, plastic, wooden or rubber utensils.
  7. WARNING: NEVER cut food in the hot pot, or on the plate's cooking surface.
  8. After use, unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool to room temperature before cleaning.
  9. Caution: Do not immerse the appliance into any liquid. The appliance cannot be immersed!
