Before the first use, please read the manual carefully. Keep it for later reference and hand it over to its new owner, if you give the appliance to another person. Safety Precautions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Please make sure that the specified mains voltage matches that of your power supply system.

• Please never use the device with a defective cable, power plug or without filter.

• If parts of the device are damaged, please contact your point of sale.

• Please do not attempt to repair, disassemble or otherwise modify the device on your own.

• The device may only be used in the household and for the purpose for which it was manufactured. Please do not use it outdoors.

• Please use the device only on flat and stable surfaces.

• Please do not operate the appliance near gases, flammable liquids and heat.

• Please do not use extension cords and multiple sockets.

• Please remove the power plug from the outlet when the appliance is not used for a long period of time, when cleaning the appliance or when a malfunction occurs. GB• Please do not insert any objects into the device. They can cause injury or damage to the appliance.

• Please do not leave the device unattended.

• Please make sure that the ventilation slots are not blocked and are free of dust or foreign objects.

• Please keep a minimum distance of 50cm to other objects, including curtains.

• Please do not use the device in rooms with high humidity, e.g. in bathrooms.

• Please do not sit on the device.

• Please clean the power cord and plug regularly from dust Introduction – Why is air cleaning important?

• Healthy breathing air is important for our health and well-being. The optimal composition for our breathing air consists of approx. 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen. As studies of leading environmental protection organizations show, indoor air is usually up to 100 times more polluted with e.g. pathogens, dust, pollen or pet hair than outdoor air. This high level of pathogens and pollutants in the air leads to increasing respiratory diseases, cardiovascular problems and allergies.

• With the AirCare 4000 VirusEx H14MultiFilter the pathogens and pollutants are filtered out of the room air through a complex filter system. These include viruses, bacteria, germs, (fine) dust, pollen, smoke, odors, mold spores and pet hairs. The unit works with a CADR ("Clean Air Delivery Rate") of 455m³/h or 265 cfm. Note: CADR describes, how much air is cleaned within one minute from particles of the size between 0,09µm and 11,0µm. This performance figure is expressed in cubic feet per minute (cfm).

• The switchable ionizer produces millions of negatively charged ions in the air purifier and releases them into the room air. These have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and relax the nervous system. Filter process polluted air pre-filter HEPA and active carbon filter

1. The pre-filter removes large dirt particles such as dust, animal hairs and mold spores.

2. The HEPA filter ("High Efficiency Particulate Arresting") removes aerosols, viruses, bacteria and other

small dirt particles such as pollen, allergens and dust mites up to 99,995%. Compared to electrostatic/ionic air purifiers, those with HEPA filters are more effective and do not spread harmful ozone.

3. The activated carbon filter absorbs chemicals, gases and odorous substances from the air thanks to

its porous surface.Installation

1: On/ Off button: Please press the key to switch the unit on and off. 2: Sleep Mode: Please press the button to activate the sleep mode: The indicator lights on the display will be dimmed. Please press and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. The lock symbol will light up on the display. Please press and hold again for 3 seconds to deactivate it. The lock symbol disappears. 3: Ionizer: Please press this button to activate the ionization function. After approx. 2600 operating hours the indicator will light up constantly. This is an additional indication of the necessary filter change. After changing the filter, please press this button for 3 seconds to deactivate the indicator. The set time is shown on the display. 5: Air Speed: Please press this button to choose between low, medium or high speed. 6: Air quality display: The border of the display will light up green if the air quality is good, blue if the air quality is moderate and red if the air quality is very poor. Cleaning

• Please remove the appliance from the power supply before every cleaning and every transport. Please never immerse the appliance and its electrical components under water to avoid electric shock.

• Please use a damp, soft cloth to clean the outer surfaces and a dry cloth to dry off.

• Please do not use any aggressive and chemical cleaning agents or abrasive cleaning agents such as steel wool.

• Filter replacement: When the filter change reminder light on the display lights up, please disconnect the unit from the power supply and replace the filter. After changing the filter, press the “filter change” button for 3 seconds to turn off the reminder light. Please note that the device cannot be switched on until the filter cover is closed. Please do not operate the device without the filter. You can buy replacement filters of the brand SUNTEC from your dealer: o Article no.: 16196 o Article description: H14 replacement filter for AirCare 4000 VirusEx H14 MultiFilter Troubleshooting problem possible cause solution device does not start - no power supply available - enable power supply - remove and reinsert the power plug unpleasant smell from the air outlet - this is normal during the very first operation - filter is soiled - after a short time, the smell disappears by itself - change the filter air doesn’t come out of the air outlet - the air outlet is blocked - the packaging has not been removed from the filter - remove foreign subjects - remove the packaging

In case of complaint

• You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).

• A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.

• Defects in wear parts, consumables, as well as cleaning, maintenance or replacement of said parts are therefore with costs.

• If you want to make a complaint, please bring the entire device in its original packaging and with proof of purchase to your dealer. For a timely and convenient service register, visit our website www.suntec-wellness.de and learn more.

• Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.

• In the event that the complaint case is analogous to our terms of service, all defects of the device or its accessories due to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated by repair or, at our discretion, replacing the unit.

• The damage of accessories does not automatically lead to a free exchange of the whole device. In these cases, please contact your dealer. Glass breakage, or breakage of plastic parts are always to charge.

• The dealer or repair service can perform the repair after the expiration of warranty against charge. Note Concertning Protection of Environment This product must not be disposed of via normal household waste after its service life, but must be taken to a collection station for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicates such disposal procedures. The materials are recycable in accordance with their respective symbols. By means of re-use, material recycling or any other form of recycling old appliances you are making an important contribution to the protection of our environment. Please ask your local council where your nearest disposal station is located. As part of our extended producer responsibility, this product is indicated in accordance to the European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The aim is to avoid, reduce, and environmentally friendly disposal of electronic waste. Please help actively to protect the environment and dispose electronic waste through local collection points. During the 24 months warranty we guarantee to repair your appliance free of charge or to provide your seller the spare parts free of charge if the appliance fails to work due to production failure.
