How to connect a Bluetooth device to the eCOMPACT4BT?
On channel 1, select the Bluetooth input with the PAIR selector. The PAIR LED will start blinking. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select 'eCOMPACT4BT'. No PIN code is required. After pairing, the PAIR LED stays on.
How to use the Talkover function?
Activate the TALKOVER switch on channel 4. When a signal is detected on this channel, the volume of MAIN OUT and SUB OUT outputs is attenuated (adjustable via ATT from 0 to 30 dB). The return time is adjustable via TIME (0.3 to 3 s). The ALT OUT output is not affected.
How to adjust channel gain?
Use the GAIN control of each channel to adjust input sensitivity. First maximize the volume of your audio source, then adjust gain so that signal peaks reach the orange zone of the VU meter (near 0 dB). Avoid the red CLIP LED staying on.
What do the SP and CLIP indicators on each channel mean?
The SP LED (green) indicates the presence of an audio signal at the selected input. The CLIP LED (red) indicates channel saturation; if it lights up, reduce the channel gain to avoid distortion.
How to activate 48 V phantom power?
On the rear panel, toggle the PHANTOM switch to ON. The PHANTOM LED on the front panel lights up. This provides 48 V to microphone inputs 2 to 4. Make sure your microphones require phantom power before activating it.
How to configure the SUB OUT output for a subwoofer?
Activate the low-pass filter by toggling the LPF switch on the rear panel to ON. The cutoff frequency is fixed at 150 Hz. The SUB OUT output signal is a mono summation of the main output. For use as a monitor output, disable the LPF.
What is the Bluetooth range of the eCOMPACT4BT?
The Bluetooth connection is Class 1, with a theoretical range of up to 25 meters under ideal conditions (without obstacles).
How to clean the device?
Clean the device only with a dry cloth. Do not use water or solvents. Do not block the ventilation slots.
What to do if the CLIP indicator lights up often?
The CLIP indicator indicates saturation. Reduce the GAIN of the affected channel or lower the volume of the audio source. Also check the equalization: excessive settings can saturate the channel.
How to rack mount the eCOMPACT4BT?
Use the included 3URMKIT mounting kit. Remove the adhesive feet, attach the rack ears, and screw the device into a standard 19-inch rack. It occupies 3 rack units (3U).

15. Ecler Bluetooth® Manager PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Ecler Bluetooth Manager is a Windows© application that allows configuring Bluetooth® parameters, such as the Bluetooth® name shown in compatible devices or the password for pairing.

15.3 Operation
- eCOMPACT4BT:
- Connect the RS-232 cable to the RS-232 PORT on the eCOMPACT4BT.
- Change the INPUT 1 SELECTOR to BT.
- POWER OFF the device and POWER ON it again while pressing PAIR BUTTON. When POWERED ON, the BT PAIR LED will remain ON - BLUE fixed. This enables the USER to configure the Bluetooth® parameters.
- On the computer, open Ecler Bluetooth Manager Application. It will show this interface:
