Use of the device Assembly (Figures 2 ) To connect the motor and dust container to the tube, insert the end of the tube into the slot provided on the motor and dust container assembly until you hear a 'click'. To connect the floor brush to the tube, insert the end of the tube into the slot on the floor brush until it clicks into place. Before use Before using the device for the first time, charge it for 3 to 4 hours. Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth and leave to dry. Do not use solvents, abrasive products or aerosols to clean the appliance. Clean the filter: Then separate the motor from the dust container by rotating the top part anti-clockwise and pulling it out. Remove the filters from the centre of the dust container. Remove the paper filter in the centre of the filter assembly by turning it anticlockwise(Figure 5). Clean the paper filter by lightly tapping it or vacuuming it with another appliance. Clean the metal filter and dust tank with a lint-free cloth. You can also rinse the metal filter and dust tank if necessary. Dry both parts thoroughly before use. Clean these parts regularly, at least every 5 uses, to ensure that the appliance works properly.
