PRODUCT INFORMATIONS

AYRA PRO is a range of two-way reference studio monitors that is designed for nearfield professional applications but is equally suited to your home recording studio. AYRA PRO series is composed of three models: AYRA PRO5, AYRA PRO6 and AYRA PRO8 featuring a high quality 1" soft dome tweeter and 5", 6.5" and 8" composite woofer.
The AYRA PRO series highlights a dedicated internal DSP that optimizes frequency response and dynamics. Featuring the exclusive RCF FIRPHASE processing, the AYRA PRO is the first Studio Monitor in its class to boast an astonishing 0^ phase response. In simple terms, FIRPHASE aligns all frequencies in the entire audio spectrum to be emitted at exactly the same time. This makes the sound output more pronounced and transients more vivid and detailed, while at the same time improving the dynamics and the natural timbre of the sounds.
The AYRA PRO Series is optimized to deliver the best sound for a variety of applications. Whether you are working with a nearfield mix in your studio or broadcast facility—or simply need some great speakers for your home entertainment system — you will need a clear and loud non-tiring sound. Thanks to the frontal bass reflex port, the AYRA PRO directs a larger portion of the energy forward, away from rear walls.

REAR PANEL

1 JACK TRS, XLR INPUT (BAL/UNBAL). The system accepts JACK TRS or XLR input connectors. These balanced inputs can be used to connect balanced or unbalanced audio sources at line level.
2 RCA INPUT (UNBAL). The system accepts RCA input connectors. These unbalanced input can be used to connect unbalanced audio sources at line level.
3 INPUT VOLUME. Adjust the input level.
4 HIGH FREQUENCY TRIM. This switch adjusts the HIGH frequency amplifier gain with -1dB, 0dB, +1dB controls. Use this controls to match perfectly the AYRA PRO curve response to each specific room acoustic.
5 LOW FREQUENCY TRIM. This switch adjusts the LOW frequency amplifier gain with -2dB, 0dB, +2dB controls.. Use this control to match perfectly the AYRA PRO curve response to each specific room acoustic.
6 VDE AC IN SOCKET. AC VDE Socket to connect the speaker to AC power supply.
7 POWER MAIN SWITCH. The power switch turns the AC power ON and OFF.
The XLR connectors use the following AES standard:
$$ \mathrm {P I N} 1 = \text {G R O U N D (S H I E L D)} $$
$$ \mathrm {P I N} 2 = \mathrm {H O T} (+) $$
$$ P I N 3 = C O L D (-) $$

BALANCED CONNECTION

UNBALANCED CONNECTION
AYRA PRO Monitors provide a universal 90-240V internal power supply.
On the rear panel there are also the input and output level controls.
Insert the power connector and the signal connector, but before turning on the speaker, make sure to select the power supply voltage corresponding to that of the country where the device is used, and that the volume control is at minimum on both the speaker and the sound source connected to the speakers; it is also important that the sound source is already on when the speaker connected to it is turned on.
These two precautions will prevent you from: first turning on the speakers in the presence of strong input signals (avoiding causing damage to the speaker itself but above all to people in front of it), also avoiding the annoying "bump" caused by the switching on of the audio equipment upstream of the speakers. In fact it is a good rule that the amplified speakers and amplifiers in general are always the last equipment to be turned on and the first to be switched off at the end of their use.
At this point you can turn on the speaker and raise the level control up to the marker line on the scale between "0" and "MAX", and then correct the level as needed.
