Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance's rating plate corresponds to that of the electrical network. The rating plate is located on the front edge of the oven (visible when the door is open).
The replacement of the power cord (type H05 RR-F 3 x 1.5 mm²) must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Contact an authorised after-sales service.
Before using the oven for the first time:
Remove the cardboard protections, plastic films and adhesive labels present on the accessories. Remove all accessories from the oven and heat it to 200 °C for about one hour to eliminate the smells and fumes that come from the insulating material and protective greases.
During use:
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the door to prevent damage.
- Do not lean on the door and do not hang any objects on the handle.
- Do not cover the inside of the oven with aluminium foil.
- Never pour water inside a hot oven. This could damage the enamel coating.
- Never scrape baking trays or pans on the bottom wall of the oven to avoid scratching the enamel coating. Ensure that the power cords of other appliances do not touch the hot parts of the oven or get caught in the door.
- Avoid exposing the oven to atmospheric agents.

Tips for saving energy
- Preheat the oven only if the cooking chart or your recipe specifies it.
- Use dark, lacquered or enamelled baking trays, as these absorb heat better.
- Turn off the oven 10 to 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Foods that require a relatively long cooking time will continue to cook due to the residual heat of the oven.
- This oven, which is intended to come into contact with foodstuffs, complies with European Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. It has been designed, manufactured and marketed in accordance with the safety requirements of the "Low Voltage" directive 2006/95/EC (which replaces directive 73/23/EEC and subsequent amendments) and the protection requirements of the "EMC" directive 2004/108/EC.
- This appliance meets the eco-design requirements of European regulations No. 65/2014 and No. 66/2014, in accordance with European standard EN 60350-1.
The oven does not work:
Check that there is no power cut and that the oven is properly plugged in. Turn the oven off and then on again to see if the problem persists.
The door does not open:
Turn the oven off and then on again to see if the problem persists. Important: during pyrolysis, it is not possible to open the oven door. Wait for it to unlock automatically (refer to the section "Cleaning cycle for ovens with the Pyrolysis function").

Warning
Under no circumstances use a steam cleaning appliance. Wait for the oven to cool down before cleaning it. Disconnect the appliance.
Exterior of the oven
IMPORTANT: under no circumstances use corrosive products or abrasive detergents. If products are accidentally spilled on the appliance, clean immediately with a damp microfibre cloth.
Clean the surfaces with a damp microfibre cloth. If it is very dirty, use water mixed with a few drops of washing-up liquid. Wipe with a dry cloth.
Oven cavity
IMPORTANT: do not use abrasive sponges and/or steel wool. Over time, these may damage the enamelled surfaces and the glass of the door.
- After each use, allow the oven to cool and clean it, preferably when it is warm, to prevent food residues from sticking (for example, high-sugar foods). Use special oven cleaning products and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Clean the glass of the oven door with an appropriate liquid detergent. To facilitate cleaning of the door, you can remove it (see MAINTENANCE). The upper heating element of the grill (see MAINTENANCE) can be lowered (on certain models only) to allow cleaning of the oven vault.
NOTE: during prolonged cooking of foods containing a lot of water (for example, pizzas, vegetables, etc.), condensation may form inside the door and around the seal. As soon as the oven is cold, wipe the inside of the door with a cloth or sponge.
Accessories:
- Soak the accessories in water containing washing-up liquid immediately after use, handling them with oven gloves if they are still hot. Use a brush or sponge to easily detach food residues.
Cleaning the rear wall and the side catalytic panels of the oven (if present)
IMPORTANT: do not use corrosive products or abrasive detergents, hard brushes, scouring pads or oven cleaning sprays, as they may damage the catalytic surface and cause it to lose its self-cleaning properties.
- Run the oven empty at 200 °C for about one hour by selecting the Forced air function. Once this time has elapsed, allow the appliance to cool, then remove food residues with a sponge.
Warning
Do not touch the oven during pyrolytic cleaning. Keep children away from the oven during pyrolytic cleaning.
This function burns off splashes produced inside the oven during cooking at around 500°C. These residues turn into ashes that can be easily removed with a damp sponge once the oven has cooled down. Do not systematically perform a pyrolytic cleaning after each use. This only applies when the oven is very dirty or in the presence of smoke and unpleasant odours during preheating or cooking.
If the oven is installed under a hob, ensure that the burners or hot plates are turned off before starting the cleaning cycle (pyrolysis). - Accessories must be removed from the oven before starting the pyrolytic cleaning (side racks as well). For optimal cleaning of the oven door, remove the most significant deposits using a damp sponge before using the Pyrolysis function.
The appliance has 2 pyrolytic functions (including side racks):
- Economical cycle (PYRO EXPRESS/ECO CLEANING): consumption is reduced by about 25% compared to a standard cycle. It is recommended to activate this cycle regularly (after cooking meat 2 to 3 times in a row).
- Standard cycle (PYRO CLEANING): it ensures effective cleaning when the oven is very dirty. In any case, after a certain number of cookings and when the oven is very dirty, a message will appear prompting you to perform a self-cleaning cycle.
NOTE: during pyrolytic cleaning, the oven door is locked and will remain so until the temperature inside the oven has dropped to an appropriate safety level.

The cooking table suggests the functions and ideal temperatures to achieve the best results for each recipe. If you wish to cook on a shelf level using only the Forced Convection function, place the foods on the second shelf level and select the recommended temperature for the "FORCED AIR" function on more than one shelf level.
The indications contained in the table exclude the use of slides. Perform the tests without slides.
To grill foods, it is advisable to leave a space of 3 to 4 cm from the front edge of the grid to facilitate extraction.
To perform the test, use the provided table.
Energy consumption and preheating time
Select the function and perform the test only with the "Preheat" option activated ("Preheat where").
Control of the accuracy test
Select the function and perform the test only with the "Preheat" option deactivated (when preheating is activated, the oven control intentionally creates a temperature profile oscillation).
The table indicates the best function to use for a specific food, to be cooked on one or more shelf levels simultaneously. The cooking times refer to the introduction of the dish into the oven, excluding preheating (when requested). The temperatures and cooking durations are indicative and depend on the quantity to be cooked and the type of accessory. Initially, use the lowest recommended values and, if the cooking result is not as desired, move to higher values. We recommend using the provided accessories and moulds or dishes if possible in dark metal. It is also possible to use Pyrex or ceramic pots and accessories; cooking times will increase slightly. To achieve results, carefully follow the advice represented in the cooking table for the choice of accessories to be positioned on the different shelf levels.
Simultaneous cooking of different foods
By using the "FORCED AIR" function, it is possible to cook several foods simultaneously (for example: fish and vegetables) requiring the same temperature, on different shelf levels. Remove the foods requiring shorter cooking times and allow the cooking to continue for those with longer times.
Pastry
- Cook pastry with the conventional function on a single shelf level. Use dark metal cake moulds and always place them on the provided grid. For cooking on multiple shelf levels, select the forced air function and arrange the moulds staggered on the grids, to promote air circulation. To check if the cake is cooked, insert a toothpick into the highest part (usually the centre) of the cake. If the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is cooked.
- If you are using non-stick moulds, do not grease the edges; the cake may not rise evenly around the perimeter.
- If the cake "deflates" during cooking, next time use a lower temperature; you can also reduce the amount of liquid and mix the batter more gently. Pastry with juicy filling (cheesecakes or with fruits) requires the "CONVECTION FORCED" function. If the bottom of the tart is too moist, place it on a lower shelf level and sprinkle the base with breadcrumbs or crushed biscuits before adding the filling.
Meats
- Use any type of dish appropriate to the size of the meat to be cooked. For roasts, preferably add broth to the bottom of the dish and baste the meat during cooking to make it more flavourful. When the roast is cooked, let it rest in the oven for 10-15 minutes or wrap it in aluminium foil.
- If you wish to grill the meat, for even cooking, CHOOSE pieces of the same thickness. Very thick slices of meat require a longer cooking time. To avoid burning them, keep them away from the grill by placing the grid on lower shelf levels. Turn the meat after 2/3 of the cooking time.
We recommend using a drip tray with half a litre of water, directly under the grid on which you have placed the meat to be grilled to collect the cooking juices. Add water if necessary.
Rotisserie (available only on certain models)
This accessory is used to grill large pieces of meat and poultry evenly. Skewer the meat on the rotisserie, secure it with kitchen string if it is a chicken and ensure it does not roll before installing the spit in its housing on the front wall of the oven and then placing it on its support. To avoid smoke formation and collect the cooking juices, we recommend placing a tray on the first shelf level with half a litre of water. The spit has a plastic handle that must be removed before starting cooking and replaced at the end of cooking to take the meat out of the oven without burning yourself.
Pizzas
Lightly grease the trays to achieve a crispy pizza base. Distribute the mozzarella on the pizza two-thirds of the way through cooking.
Dough rising function
It is advisable to cover the dough with a damp cloth before placing it in the oven. The rising times in this function decrease by about one third compared to rising times at room temperature (20-25 °C). The rising time for 1 kg of pizza dough is approximately one hour.
