A shorter grinding duration results in more coarsely ground coffee. Also observe the grinding level specifi- cations in the instruction manual for your coffee machine. Coffee Quantity Grinding duration 10 g max. 20 sec. 40 g max. 25 sec. 75 g max. 30 sec. Espresso Regardless of the type of beans and the degree of roasting, espresso coffee requires a “fine” level of grinding. Quantity Grinding duration 16 g (for 2 cups) max. 20 sec. 32 g (for 4 cups) max. 25 sec. 64 g (for 8 cups) max. 30 sec. Operating the appliance Caution! Only fill the appliance with roasted coffee or espresso beans. Never process more than 75 g of beans ■ Fill up with the desired quantity of beans. Note: The measurement spoon belonging to the espresso/coffee maker can be used for filling the coffee beans. One measuring spoonful equals roughly 8 g. ■ Put on lid with switch. ■ Plug into the mains. ■ Press switch down. The beans will be ground. ■ After the desired grinding duration, release the switch and wait for the blade to stop. ■ Disconnect the mains plug. ■ Remove the lid and remove or decant the ground coffee.8 en Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning and maintenance The appliance requires no maintenance.
