How to charge the vacuum cleaner?

Place the ERGORAPIDO on the charging base connected to the mains. The charging indicator lights up. Full charging takes about 4 hours. For the first use, charge for 24 hours.

What to do if the rotating brush does not spin?

The rotating brush may be blocked. Open the flap and remove the brush. Use scissors to remove trapped threads or fibres. Make sure it spins freely before reassembling.

How to clean the filters?

Remove the dust container, then the filters by pressing the unlocking buttons. Separate the inner filter from the pre-filter. Rinse them with lukewarm water without detergent, shake them and let them dry for at least 12 hours before reinstalling.

How to use the BrushRollClean function?

Place the vacuum on a hard, flat surface. While operating, press the BrushRollClean pedal for 5 seconds. A cutting sound is heard. This cleans the brush of hair and fibres. Do not use on carpet.

What do the indicator lights mean?

While charging: slow blinking = 100%; 3 lights = 75-100%; 2 lights = 50-75%; 1 light = 25-50%; red light = low battery. While in use: the lights indicate remaining capacity.

What to do if the vacuum does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged. If the appliance has been exposed to extreme temperature, let it warm up or cool down for a few hours. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Electrolux service center.

How to detach the handheld vacuum?

Press the unlocking button of the handheld vacuum on the body of the appliance. It detaches for portable use. Attach the crevice nozzle or brush to clean furniture and hard-to-reach areas.

How to store the accessories?

The crevice nozzle and small brush can be stored in the charging base or attached to the handle. The charging base has a storage space for accessories.

Go to www.electrolux.com/shop. Recommended parts: filter EF150 (PNC 900 168 3748) and auto kit KIT10B (PNC 900 167 9803).

How to recycle the appliance at end of life?

Do not dispose of the appliance with household waste. Remove the batteries (only by an authorized center) and take the appliance to a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Follow local regulations.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

ERGORAPIDO ^® should only be used for normal vacuuming indoors and in a domestic environment. Make sure it is stored in a dry place.

Packaging material, e.g. plastic bags should not be accessible to children to avoid suffocation.

Never use the vacuum cleaner:

• In wet areas.
• Close to flammable gases, etc.
• When the product shows visible signs of damage.
• On sharp objects or liquids.
• On hot or cold cinders, lighted cigarette butts, etc.
• On fine dust, for instance from plaster, concrete, flour, hot or cold ashes.

Caution:

• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner in direct sunlight.
• Avoid exposing the vacuum cleaner to strong heat.
• The battery cells within must not be dismantled, short circuited or placed against a metal surface.
• Never use the vacuum cleaner without its filters.
• Do not try to touch the brush roll while the cleaner is switched on and the brush roll is turning.
• Mind your fingers if cleaning the inside of the floor nozzle. The metal blade of the BRUSHROLLCLEAN® function is sharp and could cause injury.

Using the vacuum cleaner in the above circumstances may cause serious personal injury or damage to the product. Such injury or damage is not covered by the warranty or by Electrolux.

SERVICING AND WARRANTY

All service or repairs must be carried out by an authorized Electrolux service centre.

This warranty does not cover reduction in battery runtime due to battery age or use, as the life of the battery depends upon the amount and nature of use.

To protect the motor, battery and electronics the product should not be stored or operated in:

• An ambient temperature below 5^ or exceeding 35^ . If the product is stored in a temperature below 5^ or exceeding 35^ , let the product cool down or warm up and dry for a few hours before usage.
• A humidity level below 20% or exceeding 80% (non-condensing).

If the product is stored for an extended time period (without usage or continuous charging), we recommend to store the product in normal room temperature with the batteries charged at 50% capacity or more. This will maintain the performance of the product.

Attention! Dew condensation may form inside the product if the unit is moved from a cold to a warm environment or after heating up the storage room. Wait a few hours for the internal components to warm up and dry before usage.
