Instructions for use E Adjusting the Depth of the Hammock Open press-stud on the corner of the baby hammock and uncover the wooden rod. Push back the hammock material, so that the knot becomes visible. Loosen knot and pull the cord outwards through the slit in the wooden rod, until the desired gathering is achieved. Tighten the knot again and close press-stud. Repeat process on all four corners. Result: hammock hangs lower.

If a flatter surface for lying down is desired on the hammock, the cord must be shifted inwards after loosening of the knot. F Adjustability of the suspension height of the hammock There is a metal triangle to adjust the suspension height of the Koala on each of the four long suspension ropes. Arrange the metal triangles so that the long suspension ropes run in a straight line through the triangles. Now push all four metal triangles up at the same time to move the hammock lower, or move them down to increase the hammock’s height from the ground. Once the hammock is at the right height, arrange the four metal triangles so that they are at an angle to the suspension ropes. The ropes cannot slip now and the height can no longer be adjusted — test this by gently pushing in the middle of the hammock. Do not make an adjustment while your child is in the hammock and only put them back in once you are sure that the metal triangles are set correctly.

Keep loose fastening cords which are not attached to the frame away from small children.

It is dangerous to place the cradle on high surfaces such as benches, tables, car roofs, boot spaces, banisters or window sills!

Do not use the hammock near flames and other powerful sources of heat such as electric radiators, gas heaters, camping cookers, open fireplaces, etc.!

The ground on which the hammock stand is situated must be flat, even and solid; under weight, all four rubber feet of the stand must be firmly on the ground to prevent the stand from tipping over. Never put up the stand on inclined surfaces, on couches, (water)beds or soft cushions or pillows!

Do not move the baby hammock with the child lying in it, neither by carrying it nor by sliding it over the floor using coasters or cart.

Do not use on vehicles in motion; in particular, not on vehicles that are fit for use on water or in the air.

Before using, always check to see that all screw connections are tight.

Self-locking nuts that have become loose must not be used again. We cannot warrant their safety if they are used for a second time.

Before using, always check to see that all connections at the hammock and all knots at the ends of the hanging cords are tight! In particular, make sure that a tensioning knot is between the hammock and the wooden expansion bar at each of the four corners.

Before laying your child into the baby hammock, always check to see that the tensioning triangles at the hanging cords are arranged transversely to prevent the cords from slipping through.

The stand and hammock must not be used if there are broken, torn, otherwise defective or missing parts!

Any alteration of the stand or hammock will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
