Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.

The safety grille in the air intake opening prevents the hairs from being sucked in. If you notice after some time that the grille gets blocked by dust, you have to clean it. If you don't clean it, the air flux will progressively decrease and the appliance might get damaged.
Make sure the hair does not come into direct contact with the air intake opening.
If your appliance can function with 2 voltages (visible by a small 2 position switch graded to the 2 most frequent voltages), you have to verify that the tension switch is set to the position that corresponds with the voltage of your region). Otherwise the appliance might suffer serious damages which will not be covered by the guarantee.

UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)

This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded: bluc = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth. The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black. The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red. The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (& yellow).

SPECIAL ATTENTION

Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this coating is initially heated. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using for the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds.

HOW TO USE YOUR STYLING DRYER

AIR CONCENTRATOR : The air concentrator attaches easily onto the barrel of your dryer and allows you to direct the airflow on a small section of hair at a time as you style and shape hair with a vent brush or comb. You can also build body and fullness into fine, thin hair by directing the airflow against the natural growth of the hair.

DIFFUSER : The finger diffuser attachment snaps onto the air chamber of the unit to give you precise styling control whole you lift and shape the hair as it dries. It's ideal for drying or finishing naturally curly or permed hair and for adding body and volume to any hairstyle.

WHILE USING : Untwist cord from time to time to avoid tangling.

TO CLEAN: Unplug unit and allow to cool. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit. Intake grille must be cleared of any build-up of lint or hair with a small brush.

TO STORE: Unplug appliance, allow to cool, and store in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the cord lightly around the appliance. Never hang unit by the cord - use the hanging ring provided. Do not put any stress on the cord were it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

SERVICE NOTE: Before returning your unit for service, please make sure the air intake grille is free of lint and hair. If it is not, clean with a small brush and try to operate the unit again.
