USER MANUAL CG150 Duronic

1. Please read the instructions carefully before operating.
2. To prevent electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids.
3. This appliance should not be used by children without the supervision of a responsible adult.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
5. Do not operate this appliance under the following circumstances: if the cord/plug is damaged, if the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
6. The use of accessory attachments which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
7. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
8. Do not place the grinder on a heated surface. Always operate on a cool, flat surface.
9. The use of metal utensils is prohibited as this may damage the grinder and cause a risk of fire or electrical shock.

10. A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching any flammable materials.

11. Do not clean the grinder with a scrub sponge. The fragments from the sponge may get in contact with the electrical parts and cause damage/electrical shock.

12. Do not insert any flammable objects/materials such as: paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.
13. Do not operate the appliance for more than 30 seconds at a time. Please allow the motor to cool down for 1 minute after every 30 seconds of use.
14. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any hazard.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
16. The blades are very sharp, please handle with care.
17. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from electrical outlet before changing accessories.

Knowing Your Coffee Grinding Parts

Recommendations

1. This type of grinder will grind coffee for the following coffee machines:

Electric drip coffee makers
- Manual French press machines
Percolators
- Manual cone coffee makers
- Steam/boiler espresso machines

1. We do not recommend using this kind of grinder for pump espresso machines.

2. For best results, only grind as much coffee as you will brew right away. Beans will maintain the aroma longer than ground coffee.

Precautions

1. Make sure the grinding cup is completely clean and dry before use.
2. Always operate the appliance with transparent cover in place.
3. The blades are sharp, therefore please handle carefully.

Using your Grinding

1. Unwind the cord and make sure the grinder sits on a flat surface.
2. Remove the lid and fill the bean container with beans. Use one tablespoon of beans per cup of coffee (you may adjust the quantity to your own personal taste).
3. Place the lid on the grinder and plug the appliance into the electrical outlet. Press and hold down the safety button to start grinding.
4. As soon as you release the button the grinding blades will stop rotating.
5. When grinding is finished, unplug the machine and slowly remove the lid. Remove all of the ground coffee from the bean container. Clean the grinder immediately after use.

Tips

You can get coarse ground beans after approximately 15 seconds of grinding.

You can get fine ground beans after approximately 30 seconds grinding.
