WARNING
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Regarding the operating times and speed setting, refer to the section "Operation" on pages 4 & 5 of the manual.
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
The blender is only to be used with the stand provided.
CAUTION: Ensure that the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, refer to the section "Cleaning and Maintenance" on page 5 of the manual.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

WARNING: THE BLADE IS VERY SHARP, TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN HANDLING THIS BLENDER AND ALWAYS UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING.
Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read all instructions before using the appliance and keep them for future reference.
- Always turn off and unplug the blender from the mains socket when not in use, before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Ensure the blender is correctly assembled before operating.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Never use this appliance to blend anything other than foods.
- Do not use the blender to blend or chop hot food or liquids as there is a danger of scalding or damage to the appliance.
- Always operate the blender with the blender jug lid and inner stick in place.
- Do not use attachments other than those provided with the blender.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a bench or table, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your blender for the first time, remove all packaging material and labels. Wash the lid, lid cap, stirrer and blender jug in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
OPERATION
Do not operate the blender continuously for periods longer than one minute on the highest speed setting 4. Allow the blender to cool to the room temperature before commencing.
- Place the motor base on a stable, level surface.
- Mount the blender jug onto the motor base.
- Turn the blender jug anticlockwise until it is fixed properly.
The arrows on the blender jug and motor base shall be aligned when the jug is fixed.
If the jug is not properly locked to the motor base, the blender will not start.
- Plug the blender into the mains socket. Your blender is now ready to be used.
- Add all necessary ingredients to the blender jug. Do not overfill the jug.
Do not exceed 1.5 litres.
- Cut all food into small cubes (2-3 cm square) to achieve an even result.

NOTE: If mixing hard and soft foods together, begin with the hard foods and then add soft foods. Blend until you have reached the desired consistency and even test

Place the lid onto the jug and then turn it anticlockwise until it locks in position.

Make sure that the spout cover on the lid aligns with the spout on the jug.

Place the lid cap in the lid opening.
- Switch on the blender by turning the control knob to the desired operating speed.
- During blending
- There are 4 speeds. It is suggested to start blending on speed 1 and then increase to speed 2 or higher setting if necessary to blend until desired consistency is reached.
- The speed can be changed at any time during the blending process.
You can feed in small amounts of food or liquid through the jug lid. To do this, lift out the lid cap and then gradually feed pieces of food or liquids into the jug through the lid opening. Replace the lid cap when you have finished.
Use the stirrer to distribute the contents of the jug. There is a slot in the lid cap to allow you to insert and remove the stirrer. The stirrer may be safely left in the jug during blending.


Pulse function

You can use this function when ingredients need to be blended in small repeated bursts.
First turn the control knob back to "0" and then press the pulse button P and hold it for a short period. To stop the operation, release the button.
After you have finished blending
- Turn the control knob to "0" and unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
- Remove the stirrer if you are using it.
- Remove the lid by turning it clockwise.
- Hold the jug carefully and turn it clockwise to release the jug from the motor base.
- Remove the jug and pour or spoon the contents out carefully.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Remove the lid cap and stirrer from the jug. Remove the jug from the motor base. Wash them in warm soapy water. Rinse them thoroughly.
Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse it in water.
Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing.
Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives product for cleaning.
