How to turn on the scale?

To turn on the scale, press the On/Off button. The LCD screen lights up and displays '0' after a few seconds.

How to use the tare (zero setting) function?

Place the first object on the scale, read the weight, then press the tare button (ZERO) to reset the display to zero. Then add the second object: the display shows its weight alone. You can repeat the process.

What does the display 'Lo' mean?

The 'Lo' display indicates that the batteries are low. Replace the three AAA batteries with new ones, respecting polarity.

  The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

  The battery is to be disposed of safely.
• Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
  DO NOT strike, shake or drop the scale.
• Keep the scale dry.

Battery handling and usage

• Only adults should handle the batteries. Do not allow children to use the product unless the battery cover is inserted.
• Failure to properly align the battery polarity correctly can cause damage to the product and can cause a fire hazard.
• Replace the battery only with the same type. The batteries used in the product are 3 size AAA 1.5V batteries.

■ Installing the batteries

1. Remove the battery cover on the base of the scales.

2. Insert three batteries with the + and marks correctly aligned. If the batteries are placed incorrectly, the product will not work.

3. Reattach the battery cover.

CAUTION:

RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.

1. Place the scale on an even, stable surface.
2. Place a bowl on the scale effective weighing area.
3. Touch to turn the unit on.
4. Wait until LCD shows "0g" before you start weighing.
5. Put weighing object into the bowl and LCD will show the weight reading.
6. Touch to turn the unit off.

TARE/ZERO FUNCTION

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale, put the first load on the scale, get weight reading. You can repeat the following process.

1. Put the first load on the scale. LCD displays the first load.
2. Press ZEROnel the weight of the first load.
3. Put the second load on the scale. LCD displays the second load.
4. Press ZERIOvide you the total weight of both loads.
5. Press ZERGet the scale to zero.

If LCD shows "0" or the same weight reading for 2 minutes, the unit will automatically shut off.

To maximise battery life, when LCD shows "0", touch again to turn off the scale after use.ON/OFF

When the scale is overloaded, LCD will show "Err". Remove item to avoid damage.

CLEANING AND CARE

■ Manipulácia a použivanie batérii

S bateriami mozu manipulovat ibaDSPelé osoby. Nedovolte detom pouzivat zariadenie bez vlozeneho krytu baterie.
- Nesprávné vloženie bateri a nedodrzanie polarit moze sposobit poškodenie zariadenia a moze sposobit riziko vzniku požiaru.
- Bateriu vymente iba za rovnaký typ. V toto zariadení su použité 3 1,5 V batarie typu AAA.

Instalacia batérii

1. Vyberte kryt baterie zo zakiadne zariadenia.
2. Vlozte tri bataire a zachovaje uvedene oznaenia polarit + a Ak su bataire vlozenene nespravne, zariadenie nebude fungovat.
3. Nasad'te nazad kryt baterie.
