IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons. From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified service

Always position the heater in such a way that inflammable materials (such as curtains) cannot be ignited. Ensure at all times that the unit is installed solidly. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet openings are not blocked. To avoid any risk of overheating or fire, do not cover the heater (ex. With clothes). The heater should only be operated at a minimum distance of 1 meter from combustibles and at least 50cm from any other object.

Warning: Do not operate the heater near baths, showers, washbasins, swimming pools or

any other water container. It must be impossible to reach the commands of your appliance when you are in contact with water. The temperature of the grids may be very high when the appliance is in use. Avoid contact with the skin. Never use the appliance near inflammable or explosive materials. Do not insert any objects through the grille or into the interior of the appliance.

The convection heater should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with CE-directives. BEFORE USE Before using the convection heater for the first time, you must either attach the feet to the base of the unit or mount the appliance on the wall. (See pages 2 and 3) Floor-standing Attach each foot underneath the appliance by tightening sliding them in the slots foreseen; as indicated on page 3, fig. 4. Make sure to install the appliance at a minimum distance of 50 cm to other objects. Never use the appliance without its feet, except in case of wall-mounting, see below. Wall-mounting Caution: - there should be a distance of at least 18 cm between the lower part of the appliance and the floor. - the feet must be removed before mounting the appliance on the wall To mount your appliance onto the wall, take 2 adequate screws and 2 corresponding plugs. Measure the distance between the holes situated at the back of the appliance and drill two holes in the wall at the same distance. Put a plug in the holes and screw the screws in the holes by letting them more or less 4 millimetres out of the wall. Attach the appliance by putting the screws into the widest part of the holes situated at the back of the appliance and slide the appliance downwards. OPERATION After having installed your convection heater, insert the plug into an earthed power socket. When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. This smell will disappear very quickly. The power selector allows you to choose the desired power. The higher the power, the faster the heating. Caution: the metallic parts of this appliance become hot during use so if you need to move the appliance during use, use the side handles. OVERHEAT PROTECTION This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool and remove the object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.

Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the heater with water and do not immerse it. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. If necessary, dust particles accumulated in the air outlet openings may be removed with a vacuum cleaner. This maintenance should be done regularly to assure the good operation of the appliance.
