How to clean the filter of my Steba LR6?

To clean the filter, tilt the air outlet downward, remove the filter using the recessed handles. Brush the fins with the provided brush (located next to contacts). You can rinse the fins with hot water, then dry them completely before reinstalling. Do not use detergents.

What does the indicator light mean when it turns on?

The indicator means the filter needs cleaning. If the light stays on after cleaning, the filter is still damp; let it dry for about 2 hours.

How to activate silent mode?

Press the speed button repeatedly until the speed symbols turn off, only the On/Off button stays lit. The fan stops, but the electrostatic field continues to purify the air silently.

Does this purifier eliminate cigarette odors?

Yes, it is designed to eliminate odors, including cigarette smoke. However, never blow the device directly onto a flame.

Can I use the device in a child's room?

Yes, but children under 8 years should not use the device without supervision. Keep the cord out of reach and place the device on a stable surface.

How to adjust the fan speed?

Use the dedicated button. The tree lines indicate the level: one line for minimum speed, three for maximum. You can also switch to silent mode.

Does the filter need to be replaced?

No, the filter is permanent and does not need replacement. Simply clean it regularly as indicated in the manual.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

This electrostatic air cleaner removes the following from the ambient air:

• Pollen
  Particulate matter / mites
  Odours
  Toner

An electric field occurs between the plates of the permanent filter, onto which the particles are deposited.

This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.

Safety information

• The appliance must be used and plugged in only according the requirements shown on the rating label.
• Use the appliance only if the cord shows no damages. Check this before every use!
• Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Connect the power plug to a properly installed and easily accessible socket only.
• To unplug the power plug, always pull the plug – not the cable.
  Plug off the appliance after each use or in case of failure.
• Do not pull at the cord. Don't pull it over edges and don't bend it too much.
• Keep the cord away from hot parts.

Safety instructions when using the device:

Always connect the device to a safety socket
Do not use the device unless it is fully assembled.
- Route connecting cable in such a way as to avoid unintentional contact or pulling during operation.
Unplug device from socket before moving its location.
- Disconnect mains plug after use and before cleaning.

Operation

• Start the device using the on/off button 0 .
  The electrostatics may generate a little noise when the equipment is first used.
  The air speed is adjusted using the button.
  The wavy lines show which setting has been selected (Min = l, Max = lll).
• Silent mode: By pressing the for the fourth time the ON/OFF button is still illuminated, but the 山山 symbols not.

The electrostatic propulsion creates a little airflow, although the fan is not working.

• To remove the filter, swivel the outlet opening vertically downwards. The filter can be lifted out from above using the recessed grips. Carefully brush off the slats using the provided brush next to the connecting contacts.

The slat part can be rinsed with warm water.
