This electrostatic air cleaner removes the following from the ambient air:
- Pollen
Particulate matter / mites
Odours
Toner
An electric field occurs between the plates of the permanent filter, onto which the particles are deposited.
This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.
Safety information
- The appliance must be used and plugged in only according the requirements shown on the rating label.
- Use the appliance only if the cord shows no damages. Check this before every use!
- Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
- Connect the power plug to a properly installed and easily accessible socket only.
- To unplug the power plug, always pull the plug – not the cable.
Plug off the appliance after each use or in case of failure. - Do not pull at the cord. Don't pull it over edges and don't bend it too much.
- Keep the cord away from hot parts.
The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are supervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers
Children must not use the packaging as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.
- Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appliance and the connecting cable.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags). - The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system!
- After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, always pull out the plug.
- Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze it.
- Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area.
· Never immerse the appliance in water. - Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if it felt down).

Do not direct the air flow from the device at naked flames (e.g. fireplaces, candles etc.). Do not cover the intake or the outlet. - Never put any metal object into the air inlet.
Working place:

Place this device on a even and stable surface. Do not place the device near objects that may be sucked in (such as curtains)
- Do not place the device directly in front of people or animals.
For your health's sake, please select the correct air speed. - Keep a minimum distance of 30cm from any metal object (e.g. radiators).
Safety instructions when using the device:
Always connect the device to a safety socket
Do not use the device unless it is fully assembled.
- Route connecting cable in such a way as to avoid unintentional contact or pulling during operation.
Unplug device from socket before moving its location.
- Disconnect mains plug after use and before cleaning.
Operation
- Only use the provided power cable
The connecting socket is in the swivelling stand - Start the device using the on/off button 0 .
The electrostatics may generate a little noise when the equipment is first used.
The air speed is adjusted using the button.
The wavy lines show which setting has been selected (Min = l, Max = lll). - Silent mode: By pressing the for the fourth time the ON/OFF button is still illuminated, but the 山山 symbols not.
The electrostatic propulsion creates a little airflow, although the fan is not working.
Another pressing of the button is restarting the fan with the lowest speed.

Cleaning and maintainance:

- To remove the filter, swivel the outlet opening vertically downwards. The filter can be lifted out from above using the recessed grips. Carefully brush off the slats using the provided brush next to the connecting contacts.
The slat part can be rinsed with warm water.
- Then dry thoroughly and re-insert.
The intake and outlet grilles can be vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner.
