We would like to thank you for purchasing the DAY LIGHT from Impulsion®. This appliance will help you combat fatigue, apathy and the lack of energy often felt during autumn and winter when skies are grey and the days are getting shorter. These symptoms are the manifestation of what is known as the winter blues.

The DAY LIGHT uses very bright light to simulate the sun's natural rays. The light produced by the DAY LIGHT naturally re-establishes the light signals essential for feeling happy and full of energy.

Thanks to its technology and considerable light distribution (around 10,000 Lux per 17cm); the DAY LIGHT will quickly help you recover your energy and vitality.

You can use the DAYLIGHT while doing other things, such as reading, writing, speaking on the telephone, or even working.

ABOUT THE LIGHT EXPOSURE

Light and its intensity have a huge influence on the body's essential processes. During autumn and winter, the sun's rays become weaker. Traditional artificial light in buildings is, in this respect, not sufficient to compensate for this deficit in natural light. The consequences of this decrease in light can lead to a lack of drive and energy, insomnia, melancholy, concentration problems and difficulties getting up in the morning. These symptoms can be grouped under the term "seasonal depression or winter blues".

Many health professionals accept the benefits of exposure to light in treating the winter blues. By light, they mean daylight of a certain intensity. In winter light intensity can sometimes not exceed 2,500 Lux*, whereas in summer it can reach 100,000 Lux* on a beautiful summer's day.

IMPULSION has therefore developed this specific lighting appliance which enables you to benefit from the amount of light you need to dispel the winter blues.

Light exposure consists of using intensive Lux* light to simulate natural sunlight. Through regular exposure to intensive Lux light over a given period, winter blues symptoms can fade or even disappear.

* Lux is the measurement unit for the luminance of light.
