USER MANUAL HN616 JATA
- Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance for the first time and keep them for future enquires.
- This appliance can be used by children at the age of 8 or more and people with physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given an appropriate supervision or instruction concerning the safety use of the appliances and understand the dangers involved.
- Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
- Do not connect the oven to the mains without checking that the voltage on the rating plate and that of your household are the same.
- Verify that the plug has an adequate earth base.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- The surfaces of the appliance may reach high temperatures when the oven is functioning. Avoid contact with the hot parts while functioning and cooling.
- Place the oven on heat-resistant, flat surfaces.
- Keep out of curtains, liquids or other flammable materials.
- ( ) ATTENTION: Hot surface.
- Do not put the cable on the hot parts of the appliance.
- Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.11
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or a separate system of remote control.
- It is absolutely normal for the appliance to make some smoke during the first few times it is used due to the coatings used in the manufacturing process of the product.
- This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
- The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children without any supervision, unless they are over 8 years and they are under supervision.
- If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised Technician.
- Depending on the type of cooking you are doing, place the grid (6) or the tray (7) higher or lower, as the food will be closer or farther to the upper or lower resistances.
- Plug the appliance into the mains.
- Select the position with the function selector knob (2) the type of resistance function of the oven, bearing in mind that: Position :Off. Position :Only heats the lower resistances. Position :Only heats the upper resistances. Position :Heat the upper and lower resistances.
- Turn the temperature control knob (1) to the desired position depending on the food you are cooking. Generally speaking it is advisable to set it to its maximum (250ºC) position so the oven will reach the sufficient temperature quickly. Later you may set the knob to the position corresponding with the temperature that you consider appropriate.
- Next turn the timer knob (4) to choose the desired working time (maximum 60 minutes). When you do so the indicator (3) will go on and the oven will begin to heat up. O12
- When the appliance has reached the selected temperature the indicator (3) will go off. Then introduce the food.
- During the working period the indicator (3) will go on and off in an intermittent way indicating that the appliance switches on and switches off maintaining constantly the selected temperature.
- When the time programmed runs out the oven will go off automatically. Then an acoustic signal will ring.
- If you wish to stop the oven before the time runs out, set the regulator (2) to the “0” position.
- To remove the tray (7) or the grid (6) use the handle (8) to avoid getting burned.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Before you proceed to cleaning make sure the appliance is disconnected from the mains.
- To clean the inside, do not allow to cool completely. It is easier to clean when it is still warm.
- Do not use chemical or abrasive products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces. Use a damp cloth.
- To clean the inside, you may use a soft cloth with water, and if necessary a little soap.
- The tray and the grid may be cleaned with soap and water, taking care to rinse them well afterwards. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
- Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
