How to adjust the temperature of the freezer?

The temperature is adjusted via the control panel. Press the Temp button and select a value between -18°C and -24°C. The ideal temperature for food preservation is -18°C.

Can I reverse the door opening direction?

Yes, the door is reversible. We recommend having the operation performed by our customer service. If you do it yourself, follow the instructions in the manual (fig. 1) and unplug the appliance before any handling.

What is the noise level of the appliance?

The noise level is approximately 40 dB, which corresponds to a silent operation comparable to a low-voice conversation.

How to clean the freezer?

Unplug the appliance. Remove food and shelves. Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use steam cleaners.

What to do in case of a power outage?

Keep the door closed. Food remains frozen for about 10 to 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature. Do not refreeze thawed food without cooking it.

How to install the appliance correctly?

Place it in a dry and ventilated room, away from sunlight and heat sources. Use the adjustable feet to level it. Install the supplied wall spacers to maintain the minimum distances.

Can I freeze hot food?

No, wait for the food to cool to room temperature before placing it in the freezer. Freezing small quantities (max 2 kg per day) is recommended to preserve quality.

Does this freezer need manual defrosting?

No, thanks to the NoFrost function, defrosting is automatic. You never have to defrost manually.

What is the freezing capacity?

The freezing capacity is approximately 25 kg per 24 hours (estimated value). Check the rating plate for the exact value.

Installation location

A dry, well ventilated room is suitable as an installation location. The installation location should not be exposed to direct sunlight and not placed near a heat source, e.g. a cooker, radiator, etc. If installation next to a heat source is unavoidable, use a suitable insulating plate or observe the following minimum distances from the heat source:

3 cm to electric or gas cookers.
30 cm to an oil or coal-fired cooker.

The floor of the installation location must not give way; if required, reinforce floor. If the floor is uneven, compensate with supports.

When installing the appliance, ensure that the door can be opened by 90^ .

When installing two appliances, ensure that the refrigerator is on the left and the freezer is on the right.

The right side panel of the refrigerator is heated slightly. This prevents condensation from forming between the appliances.

1. On the right side of the refrigerator, degrease the adhesive areas with petroleum ether or spirit.
2. Stick spacers in all four corners at a distance of 5cm from the side edges to ensure a minimum gap between the appliances.

Changing over the door hinges

We recommend that you have the door hinges changed over by our customer service. You can find out the costs for changing over the door hinges from your appropriate customer service.

Warning

While changing over the door hinges, ensure that the appliance is not connected to the power supply. Pull out the mains plug beforehand. To prevent damaging the back of the appliance, place adequate padding underneath. Carefully place the appliance on its back.

If available:

Fit wall spacers to obtain the indicated energy absorption of the appliance. A reduced wall gap will not restrict the function of the appliance. The energy absorption may then change slightly.

Aligning the appliance

Place the appliance in the designated location and align. The appliance must be level. If the floor is uneven, use the front height-adjustable feet. Adjust the height-adjustable feet with a wrench.

Note

The appliance must be upright. Please align it with a spirit level.
