ts USER MANUAL © Part Number 61912035000 Dear Customer, the DEFCOM 3.2B alarm allows it to be installed on your vehicle quickly and in compliance with current regulations. The DEFCOM 3.2B device has possibility to be paired with a CARD B9.5 as ad- ditionally accessor butitis mainly used with a smartphone APP whose functions are described in the manual avaifable online and downloadable from the App menu. For a correct management of the product through the App we suggest to apply here the white self-adhesive label that seals the alarm control unit package. Keep these indications in a safe place, they will be useful for product updates and optional acces- sories. F 51 ‘OVERRIDE’ EMERGENCY CODE We suggest to write in this space the customized Password used to pair the smartphone in order to use it if you have to pair another smartphone to the same product. Password: The usage of the mobile APP for auminq/disarming the product temporariy VAN excludes the functioning of the CARD B9.5 if it has béen bought separately and has been memorized in a second time. SAFETY WARNINGS 3 The graphic symbols placed on the equipment indicate that the specific AN BA information in this manual must be observed. The symbols are used to safe- guard the health of users against the danger that the materials inside the product may cause. WARNING! DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED WITH A DIFFERENT OR UNSUITABLE TYPE. USED BATTERIES MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DESIGNATED DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS. Do not swallow the battery: danger of chemical burns. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. Swallowing coin/button cell batteries can cause severe internal burns and lead to death within 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. Stop the use of the product and Keep it out of the reach of children if the battery compartment does not close completely. NOTE: Whenever the vehicle battery will be connect (for example after disconnecting it for winter period or maintenance) to activate the device, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
2. CARD B9.5 ACTIVATION ( OPTIONAL)
The CARD B9.5 is not supplied in the package but is an option. To activate it please follow the specific procedure for add a card as in chapter 17. After a new Card B9.5 has been paired, to activate it, press its button for five times.

4. ARMING BY THE CARD B9.5 BUTTON (OPTIONAL)
Press briefly the CARD B9.5 button close to the vehicle. Releasing button the alarm unit will arming and it will be signaled by 2 BEEP sounds, 2 flashes of direction indicators and a quick flashing of the LED to indicate start of immunity time during that is possible check all the pro- tection without triggering an alarm sounding (see chapter *6. IMMUNITY TIME”). After immu- nity time all the alarm protections will be ready to produce an alarm trigger and the LED will flash slowly.
5. ARMING WITHOUT ACTIVATING THE INTERNAL MOVEMENT SENSOR
The disarming of the sensor can be obtained by using the specific function in the APP menu or by press hold the CARD B9.5 button (if paired) for 6 seconds close to the vehicle. Once ac- tivated by app or by releasing button on the CARD B9.5 the alarm unit will arming and it will be signaled by 2 BÉEP+1BEEP sounds, 2+1 flashes of direction indicators and a quick flashing of the LED to indicate start of immunity time during that is possible check all the protection without triggering an alarm sounding (see chapter “6. IMMUNITY TIME”). After immunity time allthe alarm protections will be ready to produce an alarm trigger and the LED will flash slowly. 6.IMMUNITY TIME During the first 26 seconds after the alarm arming, the LED flashing quickly to indicate that it is possible to test the protection functions of the system. Every alarm triggers doesn't produce an alarm sounding but just a BEEP sounds by the siren and the reset of initial immunity time that restarts again. This is when the alarm system is armed and after the initial immunity phase is over. Any alarm triggers will produce an alarm cycle that lasts 26 seconds: the direction indicators flash, the siren emits a distinctive modulated sound, and it will be impossible to start the en- gine.
8. PROTECTION BY THE ALARM SYSTEM
The alarm central unit protects the motorcycle against being started and an alarm cycle will be triggered every time: + The ignition key is turned ON + An attempt is made to remove or move any part of the motorcycle which is protected by specific switches (for example if the seat or the storage compartment is opened...) + The motorcycle is moved + The alarm systems supply cables are disconnected or cut or if the motorcycle®s battery is disconnected.
Coming back to the vehicle with Smartphone APP or with CARD B9.5 ( optional) the alarm unit recognize the Id Tag and turns off the LED to indicate that is ready to be disarmed tuning ON the vehicle instrument panel. Turning ON the vehicle instrument panel the disarming is signaled by a 1 BEEP sound and 1 flash oftthe direction indicators. the siren also emits a BOOP sound, this means that the alarm system was triggered. To find out how the alarm was triggered, consult the ‘10. ALARM MEMORY” table. If visual and acoustic signals are given during arming or disarming that are different to those described above, consult the chapter “11. NOTIFICATION” to find out what they mean.
If various alarms have been triggered during your absence the ALARM MEMORY will signal them on the LED emitting a sequences of flashing with 3 seconds pauses between the sequen- ces and will repeat the series of sequences every 6 seconds. The ALARM MEMORY is reset when the alarm system is armed with Smartphone APP or the CARD B9.5 (optional) again or when the vehicle instrument panel is ON but the alarms memo- ry stay available for 1 minute also after instrument panel activation.

The DEFCOM 3.2B alarm provides different signals (led, siren and flashing of the vehicle in- dicators) according to the different commands received and different conditions which it is, following are reported the main signals.

12. BUZZER ARMING/DISARMING DISABLE
To deactivate the Arming/Disarming Buzzer, it is necessary to contact an installation center equipped with the PRG007 Programmer or use the smartphone App.
If needs excluding the alarm system for a time period, it's possible enable the SERVICE MODE modality using Smarphone APP or the CARD B9.5 (optional). To enable the SERVICE MODE the function can be selected by the Smartphone APP Menu or by turn ON the motorcycle's key and immediately after press hold the CARD B9.5 button ( optional) at least 6 seconds, the feature enabling is indicated by the LED flashing very fast when the motorcycle's key is ON. This product has one timed operation to protect the vehicle battery (STOP MODE) and an addi- tional system to fast shut off if the battery voltage level goes down than 10,5V.
The alarm system automatically switches off in order to limit the consumption of current in the motorcycle battery, automatically excluding the alarm functions but maintaining the immo- bilization of the engine: in this condition current consumption is nil. STOP MODE is activated 5 days after the system was armed last time if no alarms were trigge- red in this time or if the motorcycle's battery is almost flat (battery voltage level under 10,5V). To exit from STOP MODE, please select the specific function on mobile APP or turn the igni- tion key ON: the siren will emit a series of BEEP sounds; Press the CARD B9.5 button (optional) within 20 seconds to disarm the alarm system. Ifthe CARD B9.5 is not paried or its button is not pressed within 20 seconds, an alarm cycle for ignition key sensing will be triggered. 16."OVERRIDE’ EMERGENCY CODE (PIN CODE) If the Smartphone or the CARD B9.5 (optional) is lost, stolen or damaged, it is possible to disarm the alarm system with a 5 digit emergency code called the 'OVERRIDE’ CODE and this code is found on the label applied on the alarm central unit body and is isn't changeable. Remove the label from the alarm unit body and keep it with you to be used if you needs it; keep the ‘OVERRIDE' CODE in a safe place and not with the motorcycle. The procedure is operational only after the initial immunity phase is over, and if the alarm fun- ctions are operational, alarm cycles will be triggered while the override code is inserted. Perform the following procedure. WARNING: If 3 attempts to insert the wrong code are detected, the central unit will be blocked
for 10 minutes in order to prevent attempts to search for the code. DISARM
The control unit is not supplied with paired with 2 B9.5 CARDs from Factory. To add other B9.5 CARDs or exclude it from the control unit memory it is necessary to contact an installation cen- ter equipped with the PRG007 Programmer or use the Smartphone App.
