Product overview Product overview + Unpack and remove all Labels from the unit, except the nameplate. Please check that all of the unit's parts are included and intact. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service centre. + Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with packaging materials. Intended use This unit has been designed to mix ingredients and should not be used for any other purpose. The unit is intended exclusively for household use and may not be used for industrial or commercial purposes. Any other use may damage the unit or cause injury. Product usage Before first use + Clean the unit before first use (> CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE). + Place the unit on a stable, flat and non-slip surface. + The unit may vibrate and move slightly across the worktop during use. Do not place the unit near the edge of a worktop as it could accidentally fall. + Do not place the unit on a hot surface such as a stove. Using the stand mixer WARNING! + Before assembling the unit or changingthe accessories, always set the speed control knob to 0 (Off] and unplug the power cable from the wall socket. Failure to do so could result in serious injury. Do not touch moving parts when the unit is in use. There is a risk of injury. Only ever use the unit continuously for a maximum of 5 minutes. lf you would like to use the unit for a longer period of time, let the unit cool down for 10 minutes between the two cycles. This operation can be repeated for a maximum of 20 cycles. Never operate the food processor while it is empty, in order to avoid overheating the motor. C2 adjust the arm position, push the arm locking-lever upwards, in the direction of the arrow. Tilt the adjustable arm to the desired angle and make sure it clicks into place. Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning and maintenance WARNING! - To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning + Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning it. + Under no circumstances should you immerse the unit, its power cable or plug in water or any other liquid, as they contain electrical components. Do not rinse them under the tap. + Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the unit. Disassemble the mixer by removing the mixing bowl, splash guard and accessories. Then clean as follows: Parts Cleaning method Arm Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a small amount of Base unit washing-up liquid. Make sure that no Liquid enters the inside of the unit. Dry completely. Splash guard with Soak in soapy water (washing-up liquid) to soften any food filler opening residue. Mixing bowl Wash thoroughly. Whisk Rinse off with clean water. Flat beater Once clean, dry all parts well. Dough hook Note: Do not wash the dough hook, flat beater or splash guard in the dishwasher. The bowl and whisk are dishwasher-safe.
