B Product usage
Assembly
- Turn the unit upside down and place on a firm surface with a soft covering, such as a floor with carpet on it, to prevent scratching the unit. Take one of the feet and thread a screw through the wide end of the foot so that the screw protrudes through the narrow end of the foot.
- Place the protruding end of the screw into the screw hole. Turn the foot clockwise until it is firmly secured into place. Repeat this step to install the other 3 feet. Turn the unit back over.
Before first use
- Assemble the unit and turn the temperature control knob to the highest setting for about 7 minutes ( Use). This can burn off the "new" odour. Please keep the room ventilated during this process.
- Then, turn off and disconnect the unit from the mains outlet and allow it to cool before wiping it clean with a damp, soft cloth ( Cleaning and maintenance).
Use

CAUTION!
- Before connecting the power cord to the mains outlet, make sure the temperature control knob is in the OFF position.
Always make sure the drip tray is inserted before using the unit.
Use the unit only indoors, in a dry and well-ventilated area.
Place the unit on a flat, stable, level, dry and heat-resistant surface at least 15~cm away from any other objects. We recommend placing a heat-resistant mat between the unit and the countertop to protect the surface from heat.
3 Slide the drip tray into the drip tray housing. Make sure it is fully inserted and sits below the drain hole on the grill plate.
Wipe a small amount of cooking oil around the grill plate.
4 Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket.
B Product usage
5 Turn the temperature control knob clockwise to the desired temperature (100°C to 300°C). You will hear a click sound and the heating indicator light turns on when the unit is heating up. The heating indicator light turns off when it reaches the set temperature. The unit takes up to 8 minutes to heat up, depending on the set temperature.
6 Allow the unit to preheat until the heating indicator light turns off. Never attempt to touch the cooking surface as a way of checking its temperature.
Place the prepared ingredients on the grill plate to start cooking. During use, the indicator light will turn on and off while the thermostat maintains the set temperature. You can adjust the temperature of the grill plate while cooking. Turn the temperature control knob anticlockwise to lower the temperature or clockwise to increase the temperature.
When you have finished using the unit, turn the temperature control knob anti-clockwise to the OFF position to turn off the unit.
Disconnect the power cord from the mains socket. Allow the unit to cool down completely before removing the drip tray and cleaning

WARNING - Risk of burns!
- Do not touch hot surfaces. The heating element, metal surfaces and accessible surfaces become hot during use and can remain hot for some time after use.
- Keep the unit out of the reach of children and pets during cooking and while the unit is cooling down.
- Never pour cold water on a hot plate, this can damage the unit and cause hot splashes.

Important:
- Do not cut foods on the grill plate or use metal or sharp utensils. Use wooden or silicone cooking utensils.
- Do not rest cooking utensils on the grill plate.
- Never use the unit to cook or defrost frozen food. Thermal shock can damage the unit.
Grilling tips
- Cut meats and vegetables into thin slices and small pieces to reduce the cooking time. Marinade meats or season to taste with herbs and spices.
- Remove excess water and juices from ingredients before grilling.
Make sure foods are cooked through before eating. - The centre of the grill plate is the hottest part and best suited for searing or grilling foods. The area outside the circular part of the grill plate is comparatively cooler and can be used to keep cooked food warm.
Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING - RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Before cleaning, always unplug the unit from the mains socket and allow it to cool down completely.
- Never immerse the main unit, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Never rinse them under the tap.

- Drip tray: Remove the drip tray. Dispose of the oil in an environmentally friendly manner. Wash the drip tray in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. The drip tray is dishwasher safe. When cleaning, make sure the drip tray does not come into contact with sharp objects that may scratch or damage the surface.
