The heat setting display of the reduced zones changes between two levels. Power limit for all zones is the difference between maximum power allowed for appliance and the power consumption of oven. Power limit for one side (left or right) is 3680W. The total power for hob does not exceed 7200W.
7. HOB - HINTS AND TIPS WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.
7.1 Cookware For induction cooking zones a strong electro-magnetic field creates the heat in the cookware very quickly. Use the induction cooking zones with suitable cookware. Cookware material •
correct: cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, multi-layer bottom (with a correct marking from a manufacturer). • not correct: aluminium, copper, brass, glass, ceramic, porcelain. Cookware is suitable for an induction hob if:
water boils very quickly on a zone set to the highest heat setting. a magnet pulls on to the bottom of the cookware. The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as possible. Ensure pan bases are clean and dry before placing on the hob surface.
Cookware dimensions Induction cooking zones adapt to the dimension of the bottom of the cookware automatically. The cooking zone efficiency is related to the diameter of the cookware. The cookware with a diameter smaller than the minimum receives only a part of the power generated by the cooking zone.
Minimum cook‐ ware diameter (mm)
7.3 The noises during operation If you can hear: • •
crack noise: cookware is made of different materials (a sandwich construction). whistle sound: you use a cooking zone with a high power level and the cookware is made of different materials (a sandwich construction).
• humming: you use a high power level. • clicking: electric switching occurs. • hissing, buzzing: the fan operates. The noises are normal and do not indicate any malfunction.
7.4 Examples of cooking applications The correlation between the heat setting of a zone and its consumption of power is not linear. When you increase the heat setting, it is not proportional to the increase of the consumption of power. It means that a cooking zone with the medium heat setting uses less than a half of its power. The data in the table is for guidance only.

13. OVEN - USING THE ACCESSORIES WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.
13.1 Inserting the accessories Wire shelf:
Push the tray or deep pan between the guide bars of the shelf support. Make sure it does not touch the back wall of the oven.
Put the shelf between the guide bars of the shelf support. Tray: Do not push the baking tray all the way to the back wall of the cavity. This prevents the heat from circulating around the tray. The food may be burnt, especially in the rear part of the tray.
14. OVEN - HINTS AND TIPS WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters. The temperature and baking times in the tables are guidelines only. They depend on the recipes and the quality and quantity of the ingredients used.
14.1 General information The appliance has four shelf positions. Count the shelf positions from the bottom of the appliance floor. The appliance has a special system which circulates the air and constantly recycles the steam. With this system you can cook in a steamy environment and keep the food soft inside and crusty outside. It decreases the cooking time and energy consumption to a minimum.
Moisture can condense in the appliance or on the door glass panels. This is normal. Always stand back from the appliance when you open the appliance door while cooking. To decrease the condensation, operate the appliance for 10 minutes before cooking.
Clean the moisture after each use of the appliance.
The function Conventional Cooking (Top / Bottom Heat) at the default temperature is ideal for bread baking.
Do not put the objects directly on the appliance floor and do not put aluminium foil on the components when you cook. This can change the baking results and cause damage to the enamel.
14.2 Baking For the first baking, use the lower temperature. You can extend the baking time by 10 – 15 minutes if you bake cakes on more than one shelf position. Cakes and pastries at different heights do not always brown equally. There is no need to change the temperature setting if an unequal browning occurs. The differences equalize during baking. Trays in the oven can distort during baking. When the trays are cold again, the distortions disappear.
Do not open the oven door before 3/4 of the set cooking time is up. If you use two baking trays at the same time, keep one empty level between them.
14.4 Cooking meat and fish Leave the meat for approximately 15 minutes before carving so that the juice does not seep out. To prevent too much smoke in the oven during roasting, add some water into the deep pan. To prevent the smoke condensation, add water each time after it dries up.
14.5 Cooking times Cooking times depend on the type of food, its consistency, and volume. Initially, monitor the performance when you cook. Find the best settings (heat setting, cooking time, etc.) for your cookware, recipes and quantities when you use this appliance.
