How to connect speakers to the DENON CEOL N5?

Strip about 10 mm of insulation from the end of the speaker cable, twist the wire. Loosen the terminal by turning counterclockwise, insert the wire, then tighten by turning clockwise. Observe polarity (+/-) and L/R channels. Use speakers with impedance 4 to 16 Ω.

How to set the time on the CEOL N5?

The time is set automatically via Internet if connected. For manual setting: press [MENU], select 'Clock' > 'Manual Adjust', adjust hours and minutes with the keys, then confirm with [ENTER].

How to listen to Internet radio?

Make sure the device is connected to the Internet (LAN or Wi-Fi). Press [INTERNET RADIO], navigate stations with the arrow keys, select a station and press [ENTER] to play. You can search by keyword with [SEARCH].

How to use the timer function?

Press [MENU], select 'Timer', choose 'Once' or 'Everyday'. Set the trigger time, source (Favorite, Preset, CD, USB, iPod) and volume. Put the device in standby to activate the timer.

Why does the display show 'Unsupported' with a CD?

The disc is not loaded correctly or is incompatible. Make sure the disc is properly positioned (label up), not scratched/dirty, and is an audio CD or finalized CD-R/RW. Special shape discs are not supported.

How to connect an iPod or iPhone?

Open the dock cover, attach the supplied adapter to your iPod, then insert the iPod into the dock. The source automatically switches to 'iPod'. Use the remote control or device keys to navigate tracks.

What to do if sound is interrupted during streaming?

Check the network connection (cable or Wi-Fi). Reduce the distance between the device and the router. Avoid interference (microwave ovens, other networks). Try switching to a lower bitrate or resetting the connection.

How to reset the microprocessor?

In case of malfunction, turn off the device, unplug the power cord for a few minutes, then plug back in and turn on. If the problem persists, contact DENON service. Do not perform this operation unnecessarily.

Can I play MP3 files from a USB flash drive?

Yes, plug the USB drive into the front USB port. Press [USB], navigate folders with the keys, select a file and press [ENTER] to play. Supported formats: MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3), WMA. FAT16/FAT32 required.

How to clean the CD player?

Use a soft, dry cloth. Wipe the disc from center to edge (straight lines). Never use chemical products, sprays or abrasive cloths. For the cabinet, use a slightly damp cloth, then wipe dry.

Connect to the network.

• When connecting cables (wired connection), connect this unit to a broadband router or switching hub using an Ethernet cable.
• When using a wireless connection (Wi-Fi), connect the Wi-Fi antenna to the rear panel of this unit.

Press the ON/STANDBY button to switch on the power.

• "Network First Setup" starts.
  Set the network and the clock settings.
  Network First Setup" is only displayed automatically the first time the unit power is switched on after purchase.

To perform "Network First Setup" again, select it from the menu.
