Read this Manual thoroughly before use.
Never hold the appliance with wet hands.
- Keep the appliance away from water.
Be extremely careful when children are near the appliance!
- Never let children use this blender unattended.
Do not immerse the appliance or its power cable in water or other liquids.
- Always unplug the power cord when the appliance is not in use or before cleaning, assembling and/or disassembling the appliance.
- Never leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
- Do not use the appliance when damaged and/or its power cord or plug is damaged; have an Authorised Service repair it for you.
Before removing the attachments from the appliance, wait until the motor comes to a stop.
- Handle the blades with extreme care when removing them from the appliance or cleaning them.
- Use of any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury, fire and/or damage to this appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when turned on.
- Never put the appliance on hot surfaces.
Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- When using the appliance, keep your hands away from rotating parts.
- Detach and remove the blender attachment before cleaning.
Always make sure that all parts of the appliance have been properly attached before turning on the power.
- Never put the appliance near other electrical appliances or equipment, burners, cookers, ovens, etc.
Use this appliance only as intended.
This product may only be operated by children 8 or more years old, mentally and/ or physically deficient persons and persons without knowledge of or experience in operation of this appliance type if supervised or instructed in safe operation, with clear understanding of all related risks. Children without supervision may never clean or maintain/care for this appliance.
- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children below 8 years old.
- Never unplug the appliance by pulling by the power cord.

  Mind that children must never play with this appliance.
  This appliance is intended for household use only.
• Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the packaging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).
  WARNING! Never let children play with plastic film or bags. Choking/ asphyxiation hazard!

This appliance has a two-stage speed control.

Pressing the button (2a) switches on the low speed; pressing the button (2b) switches on the high speed.

ASSEBLING AND USING THE BLENDER

CAUTION! Remove the blender attachment and wash it in warm water before the first use. Keep the top part of the blender (1) away from water at all times. Before installing or removing the blender attachment make sure that the power cord is unplugged.

Installing the blender attachment on the blender top:

1. Put the blender adapter (4) on the blender top (1) and lock by turning the blender top clockwise until the catch engages with a snap. To detach and remove the blender attachment, follow in reverse order.

Be careful not to cut yourself or damage the appliance parts when installing or removing the blender attachment.

CAUTION! The blade cutting edges are sharp. Risk of injury! Handle with care!

1. Once you have made sure that the blender attachment is properly secured, plug the power cord (5) into a mains outlet.
2. Start the appliance by depressing and holding the button (2a) or (2b).
3. When finished working with the blender, unplug the power cord (5).
4. The maximum continuous running time of the appliance must not exceed 30 s.

Switch off the blender and leave it to cool down before blending again.

Cut large food chunks into small pieces (1-2 cm long).

The MBL-18 hand blender is a compact appliance that helps making your meals every day. It is especially recommended for blending, mincing and chopping raw or boiled vegetables, soft fruits (without stones), blending sauces, creams and soups, mixing other liquids, etc.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Detach and remove the blender attachment before and after each use, then wash it thoroughly with warm water and a detergent, rinse down thoroughly and dry. Do not wash in water above +70^ .
3. Never wash this appliance in dishwashing machines.
4. Periodically inspect the appliance parts before assembly. If the blender attachment blades (4) are stuck or stutter when turned, do not use the blender.
5. Never immerse the blender in water. Unplug the appliance from the mains and clean the blender enclosure with a damp cloth.
6. The appliance motor has permanent lubrication and requires no relubrication.

CAUTION! Never clean with sharp objects, abrasive compounds, solvents or other aggressive chemicals; otherwise the appliance can be damaged.
