What is the minimum installation height of the VERTIGO hood?
The minimum height between the cooking surface and the hood is 650 mm. For some gas cooktops, a greater distance may be required (refer to your cooktop manual).
How to clean the grease filter?
The metal grease filter should be cleaned every 2 months (more often with heavy use). It can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand. Make sure it is completely dry before reinstalling.
When should the charcoal filter be replaced?
The active charcoal filter (for recirculation version) is not washable and should be replaced approximately every 4 months, or more often with heavy use.
How to use the remote control?
The remote control uses a CR2032 battery (not included). The buttons control the up/down movement, motor speed, lighting, and special functions (intensive, delay, 24h). Do not expose the remote control to heat sources.
What to do if the hood does not go up or down?
Check that the fuse is not blown (located in the light unit). Make sure the hood is level and that all four cables have the same tension. If the problem persists, contact technical support.
How to replace the lighting bulb?
The bulb is a G9 9W (energy-saving) not included. Open the lighting unit by pulling on the notch, unscrew the defective bulb and replace it with a new one. Close carefully.
Why is the indicator flashing rapidly?
A rapid flash (every 250 ms) indicates that the safety microswitch has been triggered (the hood encountered an obstacle). Contact technical support. You can continue to use the lighting and motor.
Can I install the hood in extraction or recirculation mode?
Yes, the hood can be installed in extraction mode (ducted to the outside) or in recirculation mode (with charcoal filter). Follow the instructions for the specific kit for your chosen version.
Does the hood come with bulbs?
No, the bulbs are not included. You must purchase them separately (type G9, 9W, energy-saving).
How to set the delay function (delayed shut-off)?
Briefly press the delay button to activate automatic shut-off after 30 minutes (motor and lights). The indicator flashes every 0.5 seconds. To deactivate, press the same button again or turn off the motor.
