A. Safety recommendations Food cannot be heated directly in a bottle or tin as the bottle or tin could break and contents could scald the user Take care during and immediately after use. The metal parts and glass window of the door become extremely hot during use. Take care not to touch them when opening and closing the door. Oven surfaces may be hot when in use Always use the handle when inserting or removing the tray. Touching the tray may cause severe burns. When hot, do not apply water to the glass window. It may cause the glass to break. When unplugging the oven, always take hold of the plug itself. Never pull on the cord. This could break the wires inside the cord. Do not position the oven near a gas burner or any other heat source, and do not direct an electric fan, etc, at the unit during USE. Doing so could affect the temperature control. Do not touch the power cable or unit with wet hands. Always unplug the cord after use and whenever the unit is left unattended. A malfunction while the plug is inserted into the mains could cause a fire. When cooking fat-spitting dishes such as roast chicken, it is recommended to use 2 sheets of aluminium foil in order to reduce fat spitting. Place one sheet on the tray and the other over the food. The oil will drip in to the gap between the sheets of foil.

2/ INSTALLING YOUR APPLIANCE

A. Countertop installation If the oven is positioned too close to a wall it may be burned or stained. Ensure curtains etc. are not in contact with the oven. Do not put anything between the base of the oven and the surface on which it is set. Any object under the over may be burned Do not put anything on top of the oven when it is use, the heat could deform, crack, etc the item. B. Electrical connection The oven must be connected to a properly wired power outlet. Insert the plug fully into the socket. If it is not properly connected, it could overheat. 3/ USING YOUR APPLIANCE

A. Before using the oven for the first time Heat the oven with nothing inside it.

1. Insert the tray and wire rack.

2. Heat the empty oven for about 10 minutes.

There may be some smoke and a burning smell at first, but this is not a malfunction. B. Description of the control panel Display window Shows time or temperature and oven functions. Oven button Press this key to select BAKE, FAN BAKE, BROIL, or Rotisserie program. a. Press oven button once, into Bake programmed. Bake: Default temperature setting at 150°, default time: 30 mins. Maximum Time: 90min. b. Press oven button twice, into Fan Bake programme Fan Bake: Default temperature setting at 150°C, default time: 30mins. maximum time: 90min. c. Press oven button three times, into Broil programme Broil: Fixed temperature setting at 230°C (not adjustable); default time: 30min; maximum time: 90min. d. Press oven button four times, into Rotisserie programme Broil: default time: 30min; Maximum Time: 90min. Pizza button Press the PIZZA button. The temperature is fixed, the time should be set. Defrost button Press the Defrost Button for the Defrost programme. Toast button Browning Selector consists of 3 points that represent Toast Color, progressively darker each step. Keep Warm button (Maintien au chaud) Press Maintien au Chaud to select Keep Warm programme. Clock button (Horloge) Press Horloge to display CLOCK before using +/- keys to adjust time. Timer (Minuterie) and Temperature button Press + or - buttons to adjust time and temperature for some functions and Toast Color selection when toasting. Stop/cancel Press this button to begin all functions. If this button is not pressed, the display will revert to:(0:00) Start button Press this Button to begin all functions. If this button is not pressed, the display will revert to:(0:00).

C. Operating instructions Plug the power supply Using the Toast function The Toast function has programmes to toast two or four slices. The TOAST function may also be used to top brown foods. a. Press TOAST button into the TOAST programme. b. Remove the Bake/Broil pan. Place the wire rack in middle oven position. Arrange the bread evenly on the rack. Plug into a power outlet. c. To select the desired toast color press adjust keys. The medium default setting shows in the display window. Press the + or - button. The medium default setting shows in the display window. Press the increase button to move to a darker setting. Press the decrease button to move to a lighter setting. d. Press the START button. The timer will begin its countdown. e. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Using the Broil function a. Press OVEN button three times into the GRILL program. b. Press Minuterie pad, Set the time by pressing the + or - button. The timer will change for each cress. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments. c. Press the TEMP. button. The default temperature is 230°C (this can not be adjusted) d. Place your food on the wire rack, and the wire rack on the Bake pan. Open the door and slide the rack/tray/food into the middle or top oven position depending on thickness of food. Close the door, press START. The timer will begin its countdown. e. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. f. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Foods that are irregular in shape, like fish or chicken breasts, take longer to cook in the thicker parts. To help them cook evenly, place the thickest parts to the outside of the food tray where they will receive more energy. Using the Bake function a. Press OVEN button into the BAKE programme. b. Press Minuterie pad, set the time by pressing the + or - button. The timer will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments c. Press the TEMP. button. The default temperature is 150°C (this can be adjusted).To change this temperature, press the + or - button to move to the desired temperature. The temperature will increase or decrease in 10°C increments. The temperature for the bake programme is 210°C. d. Open the door and place your food in the oven and press START. e. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Using the Fan Bake function a. Press OVEN button two times into the FAN BAKE programme. b. Press TIME pad ,Set the time by pressing the increase or decrease button. The timer will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments c. Press the TEMP button. The default temperature is 150°C (this can be adjusted).To change this temperature, press the + or - button to move to the desired temperature. The temperature will increase or decrease in 10°C increments. The temperature for the fan bake programme is 230°C. d. Open the door and place your food in the oven and press START. e. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Using the Rotisserie function This function allows even cooking. Use with Rotisserie Forks Installing Rotisserie Forks Fit the rotisserie forks in the rotisserie holes, and then attach it to the rotisserie tray. a. Press OVEN button four times into the ROTISSERIE programme. b. Press Minuterie pad ,Set the time by pressing the increase or decrease button. The timer will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments c. Press the TEMP button. The default temperature is 150°C (this can be adjusted).To change this temperature, press the + or - button to move to the desired temperature. The temperature will increase or decrease in 10°C increments. The temperature for the fan bake programme is 230°C. d. Open the door and place your food in the oven and press START. e. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Removing Rotisserie Forks Use the rotisserie handle to remove the rotisserie forks from the rotisserie tray, and then remove it from the rotisserie hole. Rotisserie Handle Always use the rotisserie handle to remove the rotisserie forks. Using the Pizza function a. Press PIZZA button into the PIZZA programme. the display will show “PIZZA”. b. Press Minuterie pad, set the time by pressing the + or - button. The timer will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments. Open the door and place your pizza in the oven and press START. c. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep ten seconds continually. Using the Keep Warm function a. Press Maintien au Chaud button into the KEEP WARM programme. b. Press Minuterie pad, set the time by pressing the + or - button. The time will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly in ten-minute increase. c. Open the door and place your food in the oven and press START. d. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Using the Defrost function a. Press DEFROST button into the DEFROST programme. b. Press Minuterie pad, set the time by pressing the + or - button. The timer will change for each press. Holding the button will cause the time to change rapidly increments c. Open the door and place your food in the oven and press START. d. When the programme is complete, the unit will beep continually. Using the Clock function Set the clock when the oven is plugged in. .When the oven is first plugged into a wall outlet,

1. Touch the CLOCK pad long time, the display will show “Hr24” and “CLOCK” will flash continually.

.a. First of all, set the HOUR by pressing the increase or decrease button. The time will change for each press. b. Again, Press CLOCK pad, Set the timer by pressing the increase or decrease button.

2. Touch the CLOCK pad long time, the display will show “Hr24” and “power”, Again Touch the CLOCK pad once,

the display will show “Hr12” and “CLOCK” will flash continually. .a. First of all, set the HOUR by pressing the increase or decrease button. The time will change for each press. b. Again, Press CLOCK pad, Set the MINUTE by pressing the increase or decrease button. Using the stop/cancel function Touch the STOP/CANCEL pad once to stop the cooking (re-touch to continue timing show on cancel). Using the timer/temp. function Touch the TIMER/TEMP. pad once to start the timer (re-touch to continue timing show on temp.).

Baking Tray and Wire Rack Accessory Food (For Ref. only) How to use Tray Handle Baking Tray Roast chicken wings, hamburgers, gratin, cakes, most other oven-cooked foods Note : We recommend you use it as crumb tray. Wire Rack Baked potatoes, dry food Baking Tray and Wire Rack Rotisserie forks and handle For food which will drip, e.g. boiled fish etc. Take care when removing pudding and hot liquids.

Rack Support There are 4 different positions for the tray which you can adjust according to the dish you are cooking. For example, when cooking macaroni gratin, to have the top part cooked the most, use the top or second position. For roasting a chicken, use the fourth or bottom position. 4/ CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Unplug and allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning. When cleaning, use a soft cloth (or sponge) and neutral cleaner on the interior and exterior surfaces of the oven, tray, rack, and rotisserie fork. Then rinse with clean water. Do not use a hard brush or any others cleaners to avoid scratching or damaging the interior surface of the oven, tray, wire rack and the rotisserie fork. Do not use toxic or abrasive cleaners such as gasoline, polishing powder, solvent. For safety reasons if the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its servicing company or a qualified person.
