Welcome to Truma in Unterschleißheim

We warmly welcome you and wish you a pleasant and successful stay. In the interests of your safety, to protect you from the hazards of an assembly operation, and to provide you with general information, we have compiled the following information for you. If work is to be carried out on our premises in fulfillment of our order, the “Rules of Conduct for External Service Pro-viders” guideline also apply as part of the contract in addition to this information.

Your stay on company premises and markings

When entering the company premises, visitors must report to the freight forwarding office immediately. You will be given a visitor badge, which must be worn in a clearly visible manner at all times during your stay on the company premises and returned before leaving the premises. Visitors must always be picked up at freight forwarding office and accompanied by Truma staff during their stay.

If the “Rules of Conduct for External Service Providers” guideline has been signed by the service provider, accompaniment by Truma staff is not mandatory. For your own safety, please observe the notices, manda-tory, prohibitory, warning, and information signs and follow the instructions of our employees.

General information

Parking on Truma premises is only permitted in the designated parking areas. The electric charging stations in the visitor parking lots can be used with visitor charging cards, which are available at the reception or in the Truma Academy.

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire premises (including paths on the premises and parking lots and garages). Smoking areas are available and clearly marked.

Production or distribution of image, audio, or any other recordings of processes, workpieces, articles, documents, or other information on the company premises is strictly prohibited.

Touching or removing documents, records, or other specifications without specific instruction is strictly prohibited.

Safety information

The independent wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas with signage or when performing work that requires it is mandatory without exception.

You may only remain in areas to which our Truma employee has led you or to which you have been granted permission to remain.

The use of open flames and other ignition sources is strictly prohibited. Work involving a fire hazard may only be carried out with written permission.

Do not stop at intersections or at the entrances and exits of buildings. Always watch out for company traffic.

Do not stand under suspended loads.

Operating, starting up, and interfering with machines and systems, as well as using electrical equipment, is prohibited and may only be done at the request of a Truma employee.

Production parts may have sharp edges or be hot, and some may be subject to special quality requirements. They must not be touched without express permission.

There are marked areas on the company premises that may be dangerous for people wearing electronic medical devices.

Due to invisible laser radiation, entering and manipulating machines and systems is prohibited. Crossing the light curtains and light barriers is also not permitted.

In general, our trained first aiders provide rapid initial treatment around the clock. Please note the signs on the company premises indicating designated first aid stations.

In the event of an alarm, proceed immediately to the designated assembly point.

Environmental protection & energy efficiency

You must act in such a way on the company premises that harmful environmental impacts are avoided. All relevant environmental regulations must be observed. Please use energy responsibly - avoid unnecessary consumption, switch off devices and lighting when they are not needed.

Hazardous substance management

When using hazardous substances, you must consult with your Truma contact person beforehand. Safety data sheets and, if necessary, operating instructions must be available for the hazardous substances used before any works begin.

Damages and workplace accidents

All incidents causing damage (workplace accidents, fire, leakages, environmental hazards, etc.) must be reported to the reception immediately. This also applies to other malfunctions.

Confidentiality and data protection

You must observe obligations of confidentiality and secrecy as well as legal regulations on data protection with regard to all data and information as well as trade and business secrets. No information may be disclosed or passed on.

Prohibition of alcohol and intoxicants

Bringing and consuming alcohol and/or using intoxicants is strictly prohibited on the company premises.

Traffic regulations

The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply on the company premises, but priority must be given to pedestrian and forklift traffic. In addition to the provisions of the German Road Traffic Regulations, all road users must observe the traffic and behavior rules indicated by signs throughout the company premises.

Emergency situation

In the event of an emergency situation, the instructions of the fire safety assistants and the fire department must be strictly followed. Please also note the posted escape and rescue route plans and proceed directly to the assembly point.
