How do I install the SCCV60BL range hood?
Start by deciding between ducted or recirculating mode. For ducted, connect the hood to a 150mm duct that leads outside. For recirculating, install two carbon filters (sold separately) and keep the charcoal grilles open. Fix the hood to a solid wall at least 65cm above an electric hob or 75cm above a gas hob.
How often should I clean the grease filters?
Clean the aluminium grease filters every 4–6 weeks, or more often if you cook frequently. Remove them, soak in warm soapy water, scrub gently, and rinse thoroughly. You can also put them in a dishwasher at a low temperature.
