What liquids can the Vevor CLB16GPM pump handle?

The CLB16GPM is designed for clean water and non-corrosive liquids. It is ideal for irrigation, dewatering, and water transfer applications. Do not use with flammable, corrosive, or abrasive fluids.

Can the pump be used for rainwater harvesting?

Yes, it is well-suited for rainwater harvesting from barrels or tanks. Ensure the inlet strainer is installed to prevent debris from entering the pump.

How do I prime the pump before first use?

Fill the pump housing completely with water through the priming port before starting. The pump is self-priming, but the suction line must be filled with water to create the necessary vacuum.

What is the maximum suction lift?

The maximum suction lift is 16.4 feet (5 meters). Keep the suction hose as short as possible and use a foot valve to reduce priming time and maintain performance.

Can the pump run dry?

No, running dry can damage the mechanical seal. Always ensure there is water in the pump before operation. If the pump loses prime, stop it immediately and re-prime.

What size hoses should I use with the CLB16GPM?

Use hoses with 1-inch NPT connections for both inlet and outlet. For longer runs, use a larger diameter hose to reduce friction loss and maintain flow rate.

How do I maintain the pump after each use?

After each use, drain the water from the pump and rinse with clean water. Inspect the inlet filter and impeller for debris. Store in a dry, frost-free location.

Is the pump safe to use with drinking water?

Not recommended for potable water systems. The pump is not certified for drinking water. Use it for irrigation, washing, and non-potable transfer tasks.

What is the maximum liquid temperature?

The pump can handle liquids up to 140°F (60°C). Do not exceed this temperature as it can damage the seals and reduce the pump's lifespan.

How can I replace the impeller if it wears out?

Replacement parts like the impeller are available from Vevor. To replace it, disconnect power, remove the pump casing screws, and slide out the impeller. Note the orientation before removal. Contact Vevor support for exact part numbers.

1. Secure the coupling to the engine.
2. Connect the pump bracket to the engine flange.
3. Fix the gear pump onto the pump frame and connect it to the circle (note that the single key inside cannot fall out)
4. Connect the oil suction pipe to the fuel tank and secure it with a clamp.
5. The connection between the oil outlet and the high-pressure oil po the multi way valve is complete.
