How to install the Cecotec Energysilence ceiling fan?

Installation must be carried out by a professional. Attach the mounting plate to the ceiling, connect the electrical wires (phase, neutral, ground) following the diagrams in the manual, then install the motor and blades. Use the provided mounting kit.

How to reverse the rotation direction for winter?

Use the remote control: press the reversibility button (usually a circular arrow icon). The DC motor allows changing direction to redistribute heat in winter.

How to clean the blades without damaging them?

Unplug the device. Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the blade finish.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

First check the remote control batteries (CR2032 battery). Make sure there is no obstacle between the remote control and the receiver. If the problem persists, re-pair the remote control according to the manual.

The fan makes abnormal noise, is this normal?

Slight noise is normal, but abnormal noise may come from unbalanced blades or loose screws. Check the mountings and blade balance. The Energysilence DC motor is designed to be quiet (less than 25 dB).

What is the recommended ceiling height?

The fan must be installed with a clearance of at least 30 cm between the blades and the wall, and at a minimum height of 2.30 m from the floor for safety reasons.

Can I use the fan with a light dimmer?

No, this fan is designed for use with the provided remote control. Using an external dimmer could damage the electronic motor.

How to set the timer?

On the remote control, press the 'Timer' button to select 1h, 2h or 4h. The fan will turn off automatically after the selected time.

Is the fan suitable for outdoor use?

• All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user

maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
• Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. 3. ASSEMBLY

1. Insert the telescopic tube into the base.
2. Fit the inner part of the base and secure it as shown in figure 2.
3. Make sure it is securely fixed.

1. Insert the main body into the telescopic tube.
2. Fix both parts by using the fixing nuts as shown in Figure 3.

4. OPERATION

1. Put the switch to the desired position:

5. Adjust the fan tilt by tilting the main body.

6. To adjust the height, loosen the fixing nut slightly and raise or lower the tube to the desired height. Then, retighten the fixing nut.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the cord from the power supply.
2. Remove the grille and blades carefully. Do not drop the blades.
3. Use a soft soapy cloth to clean the fan. Never use polishes or corrosive liquids that could damage the paint or the fan structure.
4. Afterwards, dry it with another cloth.
5. When you have finished cleaning, replace the blades and grille.

WARNING: before removing the grille, make sure that the fan is disconnected from the mains. Before restarting the fan, you must ensure that the grille and blades are correctly positioned.
