ENGLISH

  • The coffee filter is placed concave in the base of the coffee collector and the rubber gasket is placed on top of it until it fits snugly. You will notice that the filter base fits perfectly with the rubber gasket.
  • The coffee collector, with the filter and gasket in place, is screwed to the water container at the top of the container, which is fixed and stable.

Operation

Fig. 2

  • After cleaning the moka pot, fill the water container with water up to the valve.
  • Place the funnel in the base of the moka pot. Fill the funnel with ground espresso.

NOTE: the coffee grind should be medium and should not be pressed once it has been placed and distributed in the funnel. The more coffee you pour in, the more pressure the water will exert on the coffee and the more intense the taste will be. If too much ground coffee is used, the coffee will not be prepared.

  • Place the coffee collector on top of the water container and close it tightly.
  • Set the heat of the appliance you are using to heat the coffee to medium-high.

WARNING: when using a gas-flame stove, make sure the moka pot's handle is not exposed directly to the flame.

  • After a few minutes, the water will start to boil, and the coffee will filter to the top chamber of the moka pot.
  • Pour the coffee carefully.
  • Once the moka pot has cooled down, unscrew the top chamber, and clean it thoroughly.

WARNING: do not allow the moka pot to come into contact with salty or acidic substances.

NOTE: these coffee machine models are suitable for any type of heating surface.
