How to install the Energysilence Aero 4300 ceiling fan?
Follow the steps in the manual: attach the mounting plate to the ceiling, connect the electrical wires (live, neutral, ground), then assemble the blades and the canopy. Make sure the power is off before installation.
Can this fan be used in winter?
Yes, thanks to the reverse function. In winter mode, the blades rotate clockwise to redistribute warm air from the ceiling to the floor, improving thermal comfort.
How to clean the fan blades?
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the metal blades. Do not use abrasive products or solvents. Make sure the fan is off before cleaning.
The fan is making noise, what should I do?
Check that the blades are properly balanced and the screws are tight. If the noise persists, contact customer service. This model is designed to be silent (30 dB).
The remote control is not working, how to reset it?
Replace the remote control batteries. If the problem persists, turn off the fan's power for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Re-pair the remote control following the manual.
What is the electrical power of the fan?
The DC motor consumes only 35 W at full speed, making it economical and eco-friendly.
Can I install this fan on a sloped ceiling?
Yes, the mounting kit allows installation on a sloped ceiling up to 15 degrees. Use a suitable downrod if necessary.
How to change the fan rotation direction?
Use the button on the remote control or the switch on the motor housing (depending on the model). An indicator shows summer mode (counterclockwise) or winter mode (clockwise).
Are the blades removable for cleaning?
Yes, the blades unscrew from the motor. Clean them separately and screw them back tightly. Be careful not to lose the screws.

Installation preparation

  • To avoid any damage, make sure that you hang the fan at least 2.3 m from the floor and 76 cm from any walls or obstacles. Fig. 2
  • Make sure that the ceiling structure can hold the full weight of the fan.

3.1 Mounting bracket installation

Wooden ceiling

Fix the mounting bracket to the wooden ceiling with wood screws (of at least 7-cm thickness) as shown in figure 3.

Concrete ceiling

Drill two holes of a proper depth and insert the expansion screws into the holes. Align the holes in the mounting bracket with the screws and secure it with the nuts as shown in figure 4.

Hanging system installation

Fig. 5

A. Choosing the fan height

Two downrods are included, a short one of 13 cm and a longer one of 25 cm. The short downrod is already attached to the hanging ball, providing a length of 45 cm from the ceiling to the fan. If you want the fan to hang lower, use the longer downrod.

To remove the hanging ball, loosen the fixing screws and remove the pin and clip. Lower the hanging ball off the downrod and slide it onto the longer downrod. When the hanging ball is in the desired position, insert the pin and clip and tighten the fixing screws securely.

B. Attaching the downrod to the motor

Remove the pin from the downrod and slide the canopy and decorative cover through the downrod.

Pass the electrical wires through the downrod and pull the wires protruding from the top of the downrod end. Pass the downrod through the coupling piece and fix it to the motor's main body with the pin and clip R previously removed. Tighten the fixing screws securely. Lower the decorative cover onto the motor housing.

To avoid risk of fire and electric shock, only use the switch provided with this fan.

4. OPERATION

Remote control

Fig. 16

  1. Power indicator light
  2. Speed setting buttons: allow you to adjust the speed of the fan blades.
  3. Power button: press it to switch the fan on or off.
  4. Reverse blade spin button: it changes the blade rotation direction. It is useful to adjust the air flow according to the season: in summer, the blades should spin counterclockwise to create a cool breeze, and in winter, clockwise to distribute the warm air.
  5. Natural mode button: when this mode is activated, the fan simulates a natural breeze by automatically adjusting the speed of the blades.
  6. Light button (on/off/light shade change): this button controls the fan's built-in light. You can turn the light on or off and change the light shade.
  7. Timer buttons: allow you to programme the fan to switch off automatically after a set time.

How to synchronise the remote control and receiver

Switch on the fan and press the ⚙️ button to synchronise the receiver and the remote control. When the synchronisation is successful, the fan will beep twice.

  • To control the fan, the remote control uses RF wireless technology.
  • If there is enough space, you can use the receiver at any angle, without having to worry about the direction.

Note:

  1. If the remote control cannot synchronise with the receiver, check if the batteries make contact, are inserted correctly and have not run out of power.
  2. If the remote control cannot synchronise with the receiver, check if there are other appliances operating with a remote control nearby, as they may cause interference. If you

remove these appliances from the room where the fan is located, the remote control will work properly again.

  1. Use this appliance with the correct voltage. If the voltage is too low, the remote control will not work. Technical specifications are given in this manual.
  2. If you are not going to use the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries.

Changing the remote control batteries

The remote control is powered by 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries.

  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment observing the polarity.
  3. Close the compartment.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning

Before cleaning or repairing the fan, disconnect it from the mains.

  1. It is recommended to check at least once a year the connecting parts of the fan, such as the mounting bracket, screws and blades, to ensure that they are securely fixed.
  2. Clean the fan regularly to keep the surface clean. To remove dust, use a soft brush or cloth. If the fan has grease on it, wipe it off with a slightly damp cloth. Do not clean the fan directly with water.
  3. The motor bearing is already greased, do not add lubricating oil. Avoid scratching the surface.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

ProblemSolution
The fan does not turn on.1. Make sure that the mains power supply is working.2. Make sure that the voltage is higher than 176 V.3. Check if the fan is correctly installed.Note: if the problem persists after completing the above three checks, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
The fan makes noise.1. Before mounting the fan, make sure that it is not damaged.2. Make sure that the downrod bolt is correctly positioned and that the screws are tightened securely.3. Some new ceiling fans make noise for the first 24 hours, after that time they stop making noise.4. It is not recommended to install this fan on wooden ceilings, steel structures or prefabricated slabs, as they amplify the sound of the fan.5. Check if the fan is wobbling and, if so, use the blade-balancing kit provided by the manufacturer.
