Frequently Asked Questions - Energysilence Aero 4260 Full Sunlight CECOTEC

How to install the Cecotec Energysilence Aero 4260 Full Sunlight ceiling fan?
Follow the instructions in the manual: fix the mounting plate to the ceiling using the provided anchors, connect the electrical wires (phase, neutral, ground), then mount the motor and blades. Make sure the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician if you are not familiar with wiring.
How to pair the remote control with the fan?
Turn off the power supply for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Immediately press the 'PAIR' button on the remote control (located in the battery compartment). The fan emits a beep confirming pairing. If this does not work, check the batteries and try again.
How to reverse the fan direction for winter?
Use the remote control: press the 'REV' (or 'INVERSE') button. The fan will rotate clockwise in winter to redistribute heat. In summer, counterclockwise is recommended for cooling effect. You can also reverse direction via the switch on the motor housing if present.
How to set the fan timer?
On the remote control, press the 'TIMER' button. Each press cycles through options: 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h, then off. The fan will automatically turn off after the selected duration. An indicator on the receiver may flash to confirm.
What to do if the fan makes noise?
Check that the blades are balanced and the screws are tight. Make sure the fan is securely attached to the ceiling. If the noise persists, there may be a motor defect; contact after-sales service. A slight hum is normal, but clicking indicates a problem.
How to clean the fan and blades?
Use a soft slightly damp cloth (not wet) to wipe the blades and motor. Never use chemical or abrasive products. For hard-to-reach areas, you can use a duster. Always unplug the device before cleaning.
Can I replace the LED bulb of the fan?
The LED module is integrated and not user-replaceable. In case of failure, contact Cecotec after-sales service for replacement under warranty or repair. Do not attempt to disassemble the module yourself.
What is the recommended minimum ceiling height?
The recommended minimum height is 2.5 meters from floor to blades. For optimal operation, blades should be at least 30 cm from the ceiling and 2.2 m from the floor. Respect these distances to avoid any risk of injury.
How to activate the 'fan only' function without light?
Use the remote control: press the 'LIGHT' button to turn the light on or off independently. You can thus use the fan without lighting. The last state is remembered when powering on.
What to do if the remote control stops responding?
First check the batteries: replace them with new batteries (CR2032). Make sure no obstacle blocks the signal between the remote and the receiver. If the problem persists, re-pair the remote (see pairing question) or contact customer service.
