The Eco 40-60 programme can wash cotton laundry with normal soiling declared washable at 40^ or 60^ , together in the same cycle, and this programme is used to assess compliance with EU eco-design legislation;

  • The most energy-efficient programmes are generally those that operate at lower temperatures and for longer durations;
  • Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by the spin speed: the higher the spin speed in the spin phase, the higher the noise and the lower the remaining moisture content;
  • The values given for programmes other than the Eco 40-60 programme and the washing and drying cycle are only indicative.

Note: The noise of the washing machine and the humidity level of the laundry depend on the spin speed: the higher the spin speed, the higher the noise and the lower the humidity level.

IMPORTANT: To improve product quality, the technical specifications in the above table are subject to change without prior notice.

IMPORTANT: The values stated have been obtained in a laboratory environment in accordance with the relevant regulations. These values may vary depending on the environmental conditions and use of the washing machine.

ProgrammeType of washing and recommendations
MixFor lightly soiled or normally soiled clothes made of cotton, linen, man-made fibres or a mixture of these fabrics.Do not mix clothes of different colours.

DelicateFor clothing made of delicate fabrics (e.g. silk).
Steam WashFor cotton garments, underwear, sheets, pillows and children's clothing.
Rinse + Spin:This is a programme suitable for rinsing garments. Do not add detergent.
SpinSpin programme especially suitable for cotton and linen.

Using the washing machine

Before the first use, you should perform a complete washing cycle without laundry. Do the following:

  1. Connect the washing machine to the mains and turn on the tap.
  2. Then, choose the Cotton 20 °C programme.
  3. Then, press Start/Pause.

This process removes any remaining water from the factory check.

Steps prior to washing

  1. Connect the water supply hose and open the tap.
  2. After making sure that the socket is properly grounded, insert the plug.
  3. Position the drain hose securely.

ENGLISH

Preparing the clothes

  1. Separate the laundry according to the colour and the information on the care label. Most garments have a textile care label on the collar or on a side seam.
  2. Make sure that all pockets are empty. Foreign objects (coins, paper clips, etc.) can damage the laundry and the washing machine components.
  3. Close the zips and fasten the hooks before running a washing programme.
  4. Dark fabrics often contain excess dye and should be washed separately several times before mixing with other garments. Always wash whites and colours separately.
  5. Heavily soiled areas, stains, etc. should be pre-treated with liquid detergent, stain remover, etc.
  6. Turn clothes that clump easily or contain wool inside out before putting them in the washing machine.

Putting the clothes in the washing machine

  • Load the laundry into the drum without squeezing it.
  • Mixing large and small items provides better washing results and also helps to distribute the load evenly during spinning.
  • To make the most efficient use of energy and water, fill the washing machine completely before starting it. However, do not overload it, as this will cause creases in the garments and reduce cleaning efficiency.

Note: Make sure that no clothes are trapped between the door and the gasket.

Using the detergent and fabric softener drawer

  1. Open the drawer and add detergent into the washing compartment marked with the symbol ⏚ or II.
  2. Add fabric softener in the compartment marked with the symbol 🎨 or 🌐. Do not exceed the maximum filling level.
  3. Close the drawer.

Fig. 12

  1. Washing compartment
  2. Fabric softener compartment
  3. Prewash compartment

The amount of detergent to be added depends on the following:

- The amount of clothing.

- Soiling level.

Light soiling level: There are no visible stains. The garments may give off a slight odour.
o Normal soiling level: There are some visible stains.
o High soiling level: There are many visible stains and some of them are dry.

- Water hardness level.

Note: It is recommended to use a detergent that does not produce too much foam.

Steps for washing

  1. Connect the washing machine to the mains and turn on the tap.
  2. Open the door and insert the laundry into the drum one by one.
  3. Close the door and put the right amount of detergent and fabric softener in the drawer. Then, close the detergent drawer.
  4. Next, select the desired programme.
  5. Press start/pause to start the washing machine.
  6. The appliance will beep at the end of the washing cycle.

Note:

  • After the washing cycle is finished, the machine will enter standby mode. If you switch on the appliance and 10 minutes pass without selecting any programme, it will switch off.
  • This washing machine is equipped with a balance control system, which ensures its stability during spinning. To protect the appliance, the spinning process will be interrupted if the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The wash is redistributed by the reverse rotation of the drum. This may occur several times before the load is balanced and normal rotation can resume. If the laundry is still not evenly distributed in the drum after about 20 minutes, the machine will not spin. In this case, redistribute the load manually and reselect the spin programme.

Door lock system

  • When the washing machine is started, the door will be locked.
  • When the temperature inside the drum is higher than 60 °C, the door will be locked.
  • When the water exceeds a certain level, the door will be locked too.
  • At the end of the washing cycle, the door will unlock.

Caution: Do not attempt to open the door if the washing cycle has not finished yet or if the power supply has been cut off in the middle of the process; doing so may result in burns.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the washing machine from the mains before cleaning.
  • Do not clean the washing machine with a hose.

Cleaning the exterior

Clean the outside of the washing machine with a mild (non-abrasive) cleaning product or simply with soap and water. Afterwards, be sure to dry it well with a cloth.

ENGLISH

Note: Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, glass cleaners or multi-purpose cleaning products. These could damage plastic surfaces and other components due to the chemicals they contain.

Drum cleaning

Clean the drum every 3 months using the Drum Clean programme.

Cleaning the detergent drawer

Remove detergent residues regularly. Clean the detergent drawer by following these steps:

  • Pull out the detergent drawer until you feel resistance. Then, press down on the unlocking latch and, at the same time, pull out the detergent drawer. Fig. 13
  • Remove the siphon from the compartment and clean it.
  • Clean the rest of the detergent drawer with a brush and warm water. Fig. 14

Cleaning the housing of the detergent drawer

Use an elongated brush to remove detergent residues from the inside of the housing. Fig. 15

Cleaning the water supply hose mesh filter

Use needle-nose pliers to remove the plastic filter. Fig. 16

Clean the filter and replace it.

Note: Such filters should be checked approximately every 6 months, or more often if there are frequent interruptions to the water supply.

Note: The filter must be put back in place after cleaning.

Cleaning the drain pump filter

  1. Disconnect the washing machine from the mains and open the bottom cover with a screwdriver. Fig. 17
  2. Place a container or bowl under the pump. Unscrew and remove the filter. Fig. 18
  3. Clean the filter carefully. Fig. 19

Caution: If the washing machine is exposed to temperatures below 0 °C , certain precautions must be taken.

Note:

  • The filter must be washed every 2 months or when the error code «E03» appears.
  • Remove the filter from the drain pump to drain the water if the washing machine will not be used for a long time.
