Frequently Asked Questions - 100L5ND HISENSE

How do I set up the 100L5ND projector for the first time?
Place the projector on a stable surface near the screen, connect power, and press the power button. Follow the on-screen VIDAA setup wizard to connect Wi-Fi and configure display settings.
Can I clean the lens myself?
Yes, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid liquids or compressed air. For stubborn spots, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
Does the 100L5ND require a special screen?
It works best with a high-gain ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen designed for ultra short throw projectors, but it can project onto any flat white wall or standard screen.
How do I connect external devices like a game console?
Use an HDMI cable to connect the device to one of the three HDMI ports on the projector. Select the corresponding HDMI input using the remote's source button.
What is the optimal projection distance?
Place the projector close to the screen, about 14 cm (5.5 inches) from the wall for a 100-inch image. Adjust using the focus lever if needed.
How do I replace the laser light source?
The laser module is designed to last over 20,000 hours. Replacement should be performed by an authorized technician. Contact Hisense support for service.
Why is the projector not turning on?
Check the power cable is securely connected. Ensure the power outlet works. If using a surge protector, try plugging directly into the wall. The projector may have entered sleep mode; press the power button again.
Does this projector support 3D content?
No, the 100L5ND does not support 3D playback. It is designed for 2D content in 4K resolution.
How do I update the firmware?
Go to Settings > System > Software Update on the VIDAA menu. Ensure the projector is connected to the internet. Download and install any available updates.
What is the warranty period?
