Electrical safety

Installation Important

  • For electrical connection, carefully follow the instructions given in this manual. Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it.
  • Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it. In this case, retain the packing.

  • For sufficient leveling and circulation in the lower rear section of the appliance, the bottom feet may need to be adjusted. You can adjust them manually by hand or by using a suitable spanner. • To allow the doors to self-close, tilt back the top backwards by turning the adjustable feet.
  • Whenever you want to move the appliance, remember to turn the feet back up, so that the appliance can roll freely. Reinstall the appliance when relocating.

Warning

  • For proper installation, this refrigerator must be placed on a level surface of hard material that is the same height as the rest of the flooring. This surface should be strong enough to support a fully loaded refrigerator.
  • The rollers, which are not castors, should be only used for forward or backward movement. Moving the refrigerator sideways may damage your floor and the rollers.
  • It is advisable to adjust both the bottom feet until they touch the ground after placing the refrigerator.

  1. With the door closed, remove the 3 screws holding the top covers (1) with a Phillips (+) screwdriver, and then remove the top cover.

  1. Separate the two connectors on the left side door. To remove the wire connector, press the top of the connector (2) and separate it from the other one. To remove the water coupler from the hinge, twist and pull the clip (3) from the coupler. Remove the water line (4) while pressing the movable part (5) of the water line coupler.

  1. Remove the screws (6) fixed on the upper hinges with a wrench (5/16", 8mm) and the ground screw (7) attached to the hinge with a Phillips (+) screwdriver. Remove the upper left and right door hinges (8).

  1. Use both hands to open the door more than 90°. Lift it up and take it off.

Re-assembling the doors

To reattach the doors after you moved the appliance to its final location, assemble the parts in reverse order.

Our product has one control panel which is installed on the refrigerator door. Use your appliance according to the following control guidelines.

When the appliance is powered on, all icons on the display panel will be lit for 3 seconds. All the icons will go off on the condition of all buttons untouched and all doors closed for one minute.

Caution!

The temperature only means the average temperature of the whole refrigerator cabinet. Temperatures inside each compartment may vary from those displayed on the panel, depending on how much food is stored and where the refrigerator is placed. In addition, the actual temperature from higher room and lower room will be different.

Child Lock and Door Alarm

This icon indicates two functions:

  1. Child Lock

Press and hold "Alarm" for 3 seconds to lock the whole Control Panel including dispenser function. If Control panel is locked, the icon will be on, and none of the buttons on the Control panel work. To unlock the Control panel, please press and hold "Alarm" for 3 seconds again.

  1. Door Alarm

If the door is opened for longer than 1 minute, an alarm will sound to alert you. The alarm will sound 5 times every minute in the first and second minutes. Starting from the third minute, the alarm

If the door opening alarm buzzes for a long time, the buzzer will stop after opening the door for 10 min. Press any buttons to cancel the alarm sound. All doors are closed, and the door opening alarm is released.

  1. Freezer high temperature alarm When the temperature of freezer is too high, an alarm is sounded and the 'A' icon is lit. Check the temperature in the freezer after 24 hours of power-on. If the temperature continues to be too high for 4 hours, the high temperature alarm will be triggered.

Turn off the alarm:

Press the alarm button to turn off the sound alarm, and the icon of "⚠" will remain on until the actual temperature of the freezer drops below the alarm temperature:

If the freezer temperature reaches the standard, the icon is off, and the high temperature alarm is lifted. If the high temperature alarm is not canceled, the alarm icon is steady on, and the buzzer will sound three times per minute. After 10 minutes, the alarm will stop.

Ice Off

You can touch 'Ice Off' button to control the ice maker. When the Child Lock is off, you can touch the 'Ice Off' button to turn off the ice maker, and the icon "Will be illuminated. If you want to turn on the ice maker, please touch the 'Ice Off' button again, and the icon "Will be off.

NOTE:

When the 'Ice Off' icon is on, it only turns off the ice maker, not the dispenser.

UV Sterilization

The UV sterilization function is turned on by default, and the "UV" icon is lit up. When the ice maker or water dispenser needs water, the UV sterilization module lights up to sterilize the water.

Press and hold the 'Ice Off' button for 3 seconds to turn off the UV sterilization function. The 'UV' icon goes off and the sterilization module stops working.

Freezer Temperature Control

You can touch the "Freezer" button to set the freezer temperature. When you press the button continuously, the temperature will be set in the following sequence.

-14°C, -15°C, -16°C, -24°C, -23°C, -22°C

7°F, 6°F, 5°F, ..., -11°F, -10°F, -9°F

Press and hold the 'Freezer' button for 3 seconds. The icon * will be illuminated, and the freezer temperature setting will display -24°C (-11°F). Super Freeze can quickly lower the temperature and freeze your food faster than usual. This can retain more of the vitamins and nutrition in fresh food and keep your food longer. Super Freeze automatically switches off after 52 hours, and the freezer temperature setting will revert back to the previous setting.

When the Super Freeze function is on, you can touch the 'Freezer' button to switch off the Super Freeze function. Super Freeze is used to perform pre-freezing and fast freezing in sequence in the freezer compartment.

This function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming.

NOTE:

- When the Super Freeze function is on, if you touch the "ECO" button, the "ECO" function will be activated, and Super Freeze mode will be turned off.

- When selecting the Super Freeze function, ensure there are no bottles in the freezer compartment. Bottles and cans may explode.

You can touch the "Fridge" button to control the fridge temperature. When you press the button continuously, the temperature will be set in the following sequence.

Temperature Control

You can touch the 'My Fresh Choice' button to activate the mode to control the convertible compartment temperature. When you press the button continuously, the temperature will be set in the following sequence.

If you want to decrease the time needed to cool items in the Fridge, please touch and hold this button for 3 seconds, the Super Cool icon

* will be illuminated, the fridge temperature setting will display 2°C (36°F). Super Cool automatically switches off after 6 hours, and the refrigerator temperature setting will revert back to the previous setting. When Super Cool function is on, you can touch the "Fridge" to switch it off.

ECO

You can touch the "ECO" button to turn ECO mode on and off. When you turn ECO mode on, the ECO icon lights.

The temperature of the fridge is automatically switched to 6°C (43°F) and the freezer to -17°C (1°F).

If ECO mode is off, the Icon * will go off and the temperature setting will revert back to the previous setting.

When the Child Lock is off, you can touch the °F/°C button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit units. When it is switched to Fahrenheit, the icon * will be on.

NOTE:

  • If you need to make ice, you still need to put the water tank in place and there is enough water in the water tank.
  • Instructions on how to fill the water tank can be found in the "Using your appliance" section of this manual.

Demo mode

Demo mode is for store display, and it prevents the refrigerator from generating cool air. In this Cooling off Mode, the refrigerator may seem like it is working but it will not make cool air. The indicators on the control panel will show 'OF'. To cancel this mode, press and hold 'Alarm' and "°F/°C" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds and the buzzer beeps three times.

ConnectLife App

ConnectLife is a smart home app that allows you to communicate with your smart appliances using a smartphone or tablet.

Installation

  1. Open the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android) on your smartphone.
  2. Search for the "ConnectLife" app. You will see an app with the following icon:

Connecting your refrigerator

After installing the ConnectLife app, sign in or create an account and follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the appliance is powered on and the display panel is active. You'll know it's ready when the panel lights up.

  1. Press and hold the 'for 3°F/°C' button for seconds until you hear a beep and see the 'light flashing after it constantly on for a few seconds.

Connecting your refrigerator to Wi-Fi

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and open the ConnectLife app. Look for the pop-up indicating that a new appliance has been found. Tap the button on the pop-up and follow the instructions to proceed.
  2. If a pop-up doesn't appear, tap the button called "Add appliance" or "+" in the app.
  3. Locate "Refrigerator" in the device list and select it.
  4. Follow the instructions in the app to connect your refrigerator. Once the setup is complete, your refrigerator will appear on your home screen.

Note:

  • The appliance will remain in pairing mode for a maximum of 5 minutes.
  • To factory reset your network settings, press and hold the °F/°C button for 6 seconds. You will hear two beeps once the appliance is reset. After resetting, the appliance will automatically go into pairing mode.
  • A solid Wi-Fi light indicates the appliance is successfully connected to the home network.

Water tank

The water stored in the tank is used in the water dispenser and the automatic ice maker. To fill the water tank, please follow the steps below:

Automatic ice makers in Freezer

The automatic ice makers in freezer compartment can make ice automatically.

Note:

- When using it for the first time, or after a long period of non-use and then using it again, discard the first three batches of large ice cubes and six batches of small ice cubes produced because it is unhealthy. Ice storage boxes should be cleaned at the same time.

- Following installation, allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice cubes

  • You should clean the appliance interior regularly. It will be easier to clean when food stocks are low. You can remove the drawers and shelves for a more thorough clean.
  • Wipe the inside of the freezer with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda, and then rinse with warm water using a wrung-out sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and baskets. Thoroughly dry all surfaces and removable parts before putting them back into place.

  • Although this appliance automatically defrosts, a layer of frost may occur on the freezer compartment's interior walls if the freezer door is opened frequently or kept open too long.

  • Try to avoid keeping the door open for long periods in order to conserve energy.
  • Ensure the appliance is away from any sources of heat (Direct sunlight, electric oven or cooker etc.)

  • Do not place hot food directly into the refrigerator or freezer, the internal temperature will increase resulting in the compressor having to work harder and will consume more energy.
  • Do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavor.

Hints for frozen food refrigeration

  • Ensure that frozen food has been stored correctly by the food retailer.
  • Once defrosted, food will deteriorate rapidly and should not be re-frozen.
  • Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.

  • Meat (All Types) Wrap in polythene food wrap and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer. Always follow food storage times and use by dates suggested by manufacturers.
