Frequently Asked Questions - VERI55 DCG

How do I install the VERI55 air conditioner?
Install the window kit provided. Extend it to fit your window width, then connect the exhaust hose. Ensure the unit is level and plug into a grounded outlet. See the manual for step-by-step instructions.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the washable filter every 2 weeks for optimal performance. More frequently in dusty environments. Remove the filter, rinse with water, dry completely before reinserting.
Does the VERI55 need to be drained?
It uses self-evaporating technology; most water is evaporated. In high humidity, you may need to manually drain via the bottom plug. Check the water level indicator.
How do I use the remote control?
Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included). Point at the unit and press power to turn on/off. Use MODE to select Cool, Fan, or Dehumidify. Adjust temperature and fan speed with +/- buttons.
What is the maximum room size for this unit?
The VERI55 is suitable for rooms up to 25 m² (about 270 sq ft). For best results, keep doors and windows closed and minimize direct sunlight.
Why is my air conditioner not cooling?
Check if the filter is dirty, the exhaust hose is kinked, or the unit is in Fan mode. Ensure the window kit is sealed. If problem persists, contact support.
Can I use an extension cord?
No, do not use an extension cord. Plug directly into a grounded outlet. Using an extension cord can cause voltage drop and damage the compressor.
How do I set the timer?
Press the Timer button on the remote or control panel. Use +/- to set the desired hours (1-24). The unit will automatically turn on or off at the set time.
What does the sleep mode do?
Sleep mode gradually increases the temperature by 1°C per hour (up to 2°C) to save energy and provide comfortable cooling during the night. It also reduces fan noise.
Where can I find spare parts?
Contact DCG customer service or visit the official website. Common spare parts include filters, remote controls, and exhaust hoses. Provide the model number (VERI55).
