- Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid and do not rinse it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.

- Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

- Do not use the appliance if the mains cord, the plug or other parts are damaged.

- If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

- Be very careful when you handle a blade unit. Be especially careful when you remove it from the bowl, when you empty the bowl and when you clean it. Its cutting edges are very sharp.

- Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
