How to charge the Cecotec Perfect Fix 360 FreeStyle glue gun?

Plug the supplied USB-C cable into the port on the back of the gun. Connect the other end to a power adapter (5V/2A recommended) or to a computer. The red light indicates charging; when it turns green, the battery is full (about 2 hours).

What type of glue stick to use?

This model uses mini glue sticks with a diameter of 7 mm (standard for cordless glue guns). Preferably use quality sticks with a melting point around 150 °C for best results.

How to avoid glue drips?

After use, place the gun on its stand support. The built-in anti-drip function stops the flow as soon as the trigger is released. For extra safety, hold the trigger pressed for a few seconds before releasing to suck back excess glue.

Does the gun heat up quickly?

Yes, the heating time is about 30 seconds. The LED changes from red to green when the ideal temperature (150 °C) is reached. You can then start gluing.

What to do if the glue does not come out or the gun gets clogged?

First, check that the battery is charged and the light is green. If the glue doesn't come out, clean the nozzle with a dry cloth after cooling. In case of a jam, remove the glue stick and insert a new one, then press the trigger several times. Avoid using glue sticks that are too long or of poor quality.

How to clean the glue gun?

Wait until the device is completely cool. Wipe the metal nozzle with a slightly damp soft cloth to remove glue residue. Do not use abrasive products and never immerse the gun in water.

Can I use the gun while plugged in without battery?

No, this model is designed to operate only on the built-in battery. It is not intended for wired use. Recharge the battery regularly for a runtime of about 45 minutes.

Is the gun safe to use with children?

This is not a toy. The operating temperature is high (150 °C) and can cause burns. Keep the device out of reach of children. Always use on a stable surface and do not touch the hot metal nozzle.

Why is the light flashing red?

A red flashing light may indicate a low battery or a charging fault. Recharge the gun. If the problem persists, check the cable and adapter. Rapid flashing may also signal overheating: turn off the device and let it cool down.

Battery instructions

• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Do not allow children to replace the battery without adult supervision.
• Do not disassemble, open, or break the batteries.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children. In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not expose the battery to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit an element or a battery. Do not store batteries in an untidy manner, in a box, or drawer where they can short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
• Do not subject batteries or cells to mechanical shock.
• Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away from the liquid. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

Charging the battery

ATTENTION: during the charging process the handle may heat up, it is normal.

Note: if the battery charges improperly, it could get damaged. Do not ever charge the battery in a room temperature below 10\ °C or over 40\ °C .

• The battery is supplied half-charged to prevent damage due to total discharge.
• The battery must be fully charged before using the device for the first time and whenever

the battery level is low.

• Do not use the appliance while the battery is charging.
• A new battery will develop its full ampere-hour capacity after 5 complete charge/discharge cycles.

WARNING: charge the silicone gun battery only with the charger supplied.

The heater component of the product is manufactured with a positive temperature coefficient (PTC), which can heat up very fast and control the temperature automatically. The temperature cannot increase beyond the maximum temperature for which the appliance was designed, which prevents damage to the appliance itself, thus expanding its lifespan.

1. Ensure that the work area is clean and safe.
2. Verify that the surface to which you will apply the glue is clean, dry and free of grease or other contaminants that may affect the adhesive's adhesion.
3. Make sure the battery is charged.
4. Insert the glue stick into the rear hole of the gun.
5. Wait 15 seconds to 1 minute for the glue to warm up. Then, squeeze the trigger until the melted glue starts to come out of the nozzle. It is equipped with intelligent fixation. By simply pressing the trigger, the gun projects an endless and continuous amount of silicone without the need to touch anything or press again.
6. If the glue stick is consumed, you can insert another glue stick without any problems. Don't worry about residual glue inside the gun; it will cool down and re-melt on the next use.
7. When you have finished using the gun, unplug it and allow it to cool before storing it.

Warning

1. This glue gun works by using high temperatures to melt the glue sticks, so the nozzle and the melted glue is extremely hot (up to 200 °C).
2. Never touch the nozzle while the gun is in use or immediately after unplugging it, as it will keep hot for several minutes.
3. Never touch the molten glue emitted by the glue gun until it has cooled completely.
4. Be extremely careful when using this appliance, otherwise you may get burned.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance

While the appliance is not being used, you must store it following these instructions:

• The room temperature must be lower than 40 °C.
• It must be dry, moisture-free and protected from cold and heat.

- You must store it in a place protected from dust and direct sunlight.

Maintenance indications

Inside the appliance there are not any pieces the user must maintain or lubricate.

Cleaning

It is necessary to clean the device before and after using it.

• To clean the external parts of the device, use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, it may be slightly moistened. Make sure moisture does not enter the casing or come into contact with any electric component.
• Do not use detergents, aggressive cleaning agents or solvents, like cleaning sprays, paint thinners, detergents containing alcohol or abrasive cleaners to moisten the cloth.
• To dry the device, use a clean, soft, lint-free and totally dry cloth.
• Clean the device connection contacts carefully, as well as the charger contacts.

You must transport and store the device properly, following the instructions in this manual.

• Follow at all times the following transport instructions:
• First, unplug the device.
• Remove the power cable from the power socket (socket base) by grabbing the plug, not the cable.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
• You must also take into account additional national dispositions regarding shipping.

Storage

• First, unplug the device.

• Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing it in the case.
