For recirculation, you must add a charcoal filter (not supplied) and follow the mounting instructions in the manual. The hood then works without external evacuation.
How to clean the grease filters?
The metallic grease filters are dishwasher safe or hand washable with hot water and detergent. Clean them every 2 months to maintain performance.
Where to buy a replacement charcoal filter?
Charcoal filters are available at Franke authorized dealers or on their website. Use the reference indicated in the manual to order the correct model.
What is the noise level of this hood?
The maximum noise level is 65 dB(A) at maximum speed. At speed 1, it is about 55 dB(A).
How to set the automatic shut-off timer?
Press the Timer button to activate automatic shut-off after 15 minutes. A long press allows you to set the duration (15, 30 or 60 minutes).
Can the hood be used without an evacuation duct?
Yes, in recirculation mode. Install a charcoal filter and the hood will filter the air before returning it to the room. Extraction mode requires a duct to the outside.

When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with appliances supplied with energy other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0,04 mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room by the cooker hood. - The air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. - If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced from the manufacturer or its service agent. - Connect the plug to a socket complying with current regulations, located in an
