How to clean the grease filters?
The aluminum grease filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand with warm soapy water. It is recommended to clean them monthly to maintain performance.
When should the charcoal filter be replaced?
In recirculation mode, the charcoal filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on usage. A saturation indicator may alert you.
How to adjust the hood speed?
Use the touch controls to select the desired speed (usually 3 speeds and a boost function). The highest speed is recommended for strong odors.
What to do if the hood is noisy?
Check that the filters are clean and properly installed. Excessive noise may come from an obstruction in the duct or a defective motor. Contact customer service if the problem persists.
How to use the timer function?
Press the timer button to program an automatic shut-off after 10 minutes (or depending on the model). The hood will turn off automatically.
Can I use the hood in recirculation mode without external exhaust?
Yes, simply install a charcoal filter and set the hood to recirculation mode. The air will be purified and then recirculated into the room.
